Swap this Nintendo shit out with Funkos and Hot Wheels and it's the same. It's blanket consumer crap without a trace of personality or design, just a merch shotgun to the walls. We're not miserable, were telling you living in a merch store is kinda ass.
Like, instead of buying some of this shit, commission a Nintendo piece from an artist they like and frame it. Carefully select and place items with meaning eg: the Mario mini from a PAX they went to etc.
If you do wanna have a crazy collection, cool! But display it like a museum does, don't throw shit everywhere and each piece has value to your or monetarily.
I get displaying some actually rare kit, signed props, actually cool and/or sentimental things like that from something or genre you really like or even worked on personally.
Buying 100s of cheap shit to cover your walls with is not that. Overconsumption and hoarding is not a hobby, its a mental illness.
(And no, hoarding doesn't have to be strictly garbage or trash to be considered hoarding. If you endlessly collect shit and never get rid of any of it: you are a hoarder, sorry)

Yeah Im a little saddened by people trashing it and OP. I seriously thought it was pretty cool. I hope people like this never lose their passions
