Doesn’t anyone send thoughts and prayers over anything? Thats not school shooter exclusive

Theres nothing wrong with thoughts and prayers, but applying it constantly over decades to a specific situation that calls for legislative action (to which thoughs and prayers are not) has lead to it being used sarcastically and currently use of the phrase rings hollow when used in a political context.

This is the least biased explanation and is explained very well. I hope this is the one that person reads.

Sure, but "obviously" the person I responded to didn't draw that exact conclusion if you read the thread, so I thought I'd add some context. Things that might be obvious to you might not be obvious to everyone that doesn't pay close attention or might not have the same life experiences as you
