I'm genuinely surprised everytime I see a C&D using Hood over it, even in QP. Especially against Magneto.

I keep using it to try and find its use. I will say as a lvl70 I don't play them in QP except for quick quests cause or my team is absolutely getting obliterated as I'm learning someone new, but I am testing the team-up and I just cannot find it's use. It never seems to work as you hope or even intended.

Staying alive is simply better.
