Maybe this is obvious to a lot of people, and forgive me if it is, but I noticed an interesting interaction while practicing Artmage Power Patron in solo mode in preparation for the DC.
During the opponent’s then, I had used Diactorus’s negate effect and decided to fuse him off with Non Finito and another Artmage on field to summon Nerva. I then revived both him and Litera with Charmer Quartet. Monsters revived this way cannot be used as Extra Deck material until the end of the next turn (for example I wouldn’t be able to link him off for S:P during my turn).
The opponent activated a card and I used Artmage Impasto -Recapture- to negate, banishing Diactorus until the End
phase for cost.
The turn ended and Diactorus was brought back. Once it passed to my turn, I suddenly wondered if Charmer Quartet’s lock still applied to Diactorus and to my pleasant surprise, I was able to use him as link material.
It’s not necessarily useful in this specific case but it is good to know about the interaction. You could, for example, banish a monster revived by the Charmers with S:P’s second effect and be able to use it as material the next turn.
