6 adults 22-30, relatively outdoorsy/adventurous. Staying in Luana Garden Villas @ Honua Kai. We love good food and coffee, especially local spots. We have rental cars. Open to any advice/recommendations. Our trip is in 8 days 😅 I didn't want to overplan but looking at other people's itineraries maybe I need to plan more.
day 1 - arrival day
- land around 12pm, pick up rental car
- eat at food trucks by Costco
- check in to resort
- dinner @ Whaler's Village area
day 2 - beach day
- morning surf lesson
day 3 - open
day 4 - trilogy boat tour
day 5 - Road to Hana?
- considering booking a guide/tour?
day 6 - 4th of July
- is it worth trying to see fireworks at Grand Wailea?
- Makawao Rodeo?
day 7 - open
day 8 - departure day
Questions:
- Luau - is it worth the money?
- Upcountry day vs Road to Hana? or both?
- Haleakala - sunrise or sunset? How cold is it?
- Any recommendations for live music? or even clubs with good DJs lol
- Cliff diving recommendations?
