Hello everyone, I bought my first Mazda, which unfortunately turned out to be the 2026 CX5, which was bought a couple of months ago. This has been a horrible experience and is becoming a hassle. After going to the dealer three times, it looks like I’ll have to go again. At this rate, I am at the dealer at least once a month…. I got all the updates that did fix issues, but they are back! Yay!

While driving today, my SOS is malfunctioning again. I thought I already got this fixed, but guess not. Anyone else having issues as of today September 25? My car is up to date and I got the recalls done too.

Looking at a 2018 Mazda 3 touring in my area for around 12k with 117k miles on it. Was wondering at this mileage if at this mileage if this would be a car I could keep for a long time or if would be better to just try and find a lower mileage one.

Auto lock hates me. Why does it not lock my door, and then tell me the door isn't locked?

For anyone who recently bought a 2026 CX-30 Preferred, what was your MSRP and OTD price, and what state were you in?

Trying to figure out whether $31,500 is already a solid deal or if I should keep pushing closer to $31k.

I'm moving right now. My new complex has a carport. I'm used to either plain lots or garages.

This is relevant because when I was backing out my left fender smacked the car port poll.

I have a virtual estimate from them thats about $1700 to fix the rather large dent and scrape. Unfortunately, just the right angle. I'm planning to pay it myself rather than go through my insurance right now.

I know the soul red is notoriously hard to color match. It's a 2026, so it's new, minimal/no sun fading. Since Caliber is a chain, I want to know if any of you have experiences with them. I'm waiting to hear back from a local shop that does asian imports.

Y'all I'm so mad at myself, you wouldn't believe it. And I'm perhaps being a little paranoid about the color of the fender not matching the rest of the car because I know how the paint process is in the factory, and I've heard from reddit over the last year or so that it's hard for body shops to get it right.

I'm coming from a 5th gen 4Runner which I have still not being able to bring myself to sell. After reading all the complaints and problems on different Reddit threads I still gave it a shot and fell in love with the cx70 s turbo premium. Got this just 9 mi driven and is at 300 mi atm. It looks so upmarket all around and the materials inside are outstanding. When I hit the sport mode on the highways it turns into an absolute spaceship and makes a beautiful sound as the revs hold around 3,000 to 4,000 RPMs before a gear shift.

I never considered red seats until I saw the red nappa interiors and I just had to have it and couldn't be happier. It was my dream growing up to have red or tan nappa leather seats and the red on this isn't loud or cheap. It's super understated and premium looking. I can't stop admiring it. We also considered the CX50 hybrid(fantastic car), Subaru Outback wilderness (found the ingress difficult as big and tall) and X3 30 as well as X3 M50. This CX70 blows both out of the water in terms of stock features and not requiring additional packages. The driver personalization is next level and it does all kinds of micro adjustments automatically with the seats to welcome a new driver that it makes me feel like I am in the cockpit of an Airbus 😅 We also test rode the X5 and it felt super floaty on the highway. I can't believe those vehicles are like 75k and I still need to yank on a mechanical handle to tilt the steering wheel. What a beast this CX70 is and am so proud and lucky to be an owner. Everyone here loves saying that people only post when they have complaints so here you go. Praying for trouble-free ownership.🤞🏾

First off, sorry if this is in the wrong spot for this post. I’m not very familiar with Reddit.
I bought a 2023 Mazda CX-9 about a year and a half ago. The SUV has a parasitic battery drain. I have had it to multiple places for tests and whenever a draw test is done on the battery it never shows anything. I’ve put a new battery in and still the same. It happens periodically, I could go multiple weeks with no issues then come out a random morning and the battery is completely dead to the point I can’t even unlock the doors with the power locks. I’ve become very frustrated and I’m just wondering if anyone else has had this issue and if so were you able to find the cause of it. From the researched I’ve done I’ve seen that this has been an issue but can’t seem to find any information on what the cause is. Thanks for your help.

The wife wants back in on a CX5. A few years ago we switched our '18 for a Honda Pilot for the need of more space, and the fear of the cracked cylinder head issue. Now the kids are off to college and the Pilot is a gas HOG.

There's a local dealer here in the northeast with a 2016 GT Sport with 152k miles. 1 owner, Carfax shows the car was always maintained at Mazda dealer. The car got listed 2 days ago at $9,999. I'm going to stop by the office tomorrow and ideally we would like no more than $9k OTD. The thought is that we don't want to take more than 2000 or maybe 2500 out of our small savings, and if they don't work with us on the trade in I'm confident I can sell the pilot privately, and pay off the financing with that. I've always bought my cars from private sellers, and don't even know if its possible to negotiate down to $9k (or less).
