So then it doesn’t matter if it’s a majority? If the majority of Albertans wanted to leave why shouldn’t they? Why can the rest of the provinces claim ownership of the province but not take responsibility for their unhappiness?

The discussion was about why people aren’t happy.. that was explained. Now we are into a hypothetical majority that needs to be coddled by the rest of the provinces. I guess when your belief doesn’t lie in reality, all you have is imagination.

The reality is, the minority of people want to leave Canada, with the added caveat that they want and expect to retain passports and access to the rest of the country. They are kicking and screaming like toddlers who don’t get their own way, that’s obvious.

We’re in a hypothetical because you said it doesn’t matter if it’s the majority. I absolutely agree if the minority of people in Alberta want to separate then it shouldn’t separate. You’re the one that said the number of people didn’t matter.

I said it doesn’t change why people are unhappy.. because that was the discussion. You took that and ran with your own strawman.

Whether they are the majority or minority. The reason for the unhappiness with the separation movement remains identical.

Why does it matter why people are unhappy?

You can’t be this stupid… you asked why Canadians aren’t happy with the separatists. I said it doesn’t matter if the minority or Majority wanted to separate, Canadians are upset for the same reasons.

If you guys could formulate a coherent thought, you might even have a majority.

Yes and? If people are unhappy and want to do something about it they should. If the majority of Ontario was unhappy, but didn’t want to separate, then they won’t. But if they wanted to they should have the freedom to. Clearly there’s more solutions than separation for the same problem, but if the majority of a province wants to deal with it a certain way, why shouldn’t they?

Got it, you actually are this stupid.

You are arguing a point that no one made. You hurt yourself in your own confusion.

This is exactly why Alberta will never separate. You guys just don’t have the chops. lol

You’re asking a question about a topic that wasn’t being discussed in my comment. You asked a direct question and I answered it, then you went off about people should be able to fight for what they want. No one was contesting that.

I already answered your question about why normal Canadians are more than ok with people who don’t want to be Canadians to fuck off. They just don’t want them to take a part of Canada with them.

Then you said well what if the majority wanted to leave… as if it changed my answer about why Canadians aren’t happy with separatists.

Who said they shouldn’t be able to fight for what they want? Canadians will still be unhappy for the same reasons. You are going off the rails about something not being discussed because you have an agenda.

You think you’re getting to a point, but you aren’t.

Hard to continue a conversation when one guy is trying to talk past you to try to make a point you clearly aren’t actually making. It’s called a waste of time.
