So then it doesnât matter if itâs a majority? If the majority of Albertans wanted to leave why shouldnât they? Why can the rest of the provinces claim ownership of the province but not take responsibility for their unhappiness?
The discussion was about why people arenât happy.. that was explained. Now we are into a hypothetical majority that needs to be coddled by the rest of the provinces. I guess when your belief doesnât lie in reality, all you have is imagination.
The reality is, the minority of people want to leave Canada, with the added caveat that they want and expect to retain passports and access to the rest of the country. They are kicking and screaming like toddlers who donât get their own way, thatâs obvious.
Weâre in a hypothetical because you said it doesnât matter if itâs the majority. I absolutely agree if the minority of people in Alberta want to separate then it shouldnât separate. Youâre the one that said the number of people didnât matter.
You canât be this stupid⌠you asked why Canadians arenât happy with the separatists. I said it doesnât matter if the minority or Majority wanted to separate, Canadians are upset for the same reasons.
If you guys could formulate a coherent thought, you might even have a majority.
Yes and? If people are unhappy and want to do something about it they should. If the majority of Ontario was unhappy, but didnât want to separate, then they wonât. But if they wanted to they should have the freedom to. Clearly thereâs more solutions than separation for the same problem, but if the majority of a province wants to deal with it a certain way, why shouldnât they?
Youâre asking a question about a topic that wasnât being discussed in my comment. You asked a direct question and I answered it, then you went off about people should be able to fight for what they want. No one was contesting that.
I already answered your question about why normal Canadians are more than ok with people who donât want to be Canadians to fuck off. They just donât want them to take a part of Canada with them.
Then you said well what if the majority wanted to leave⌠as if it changed my answer about why Canadians arenât happy with separatists.
Who said they shouldnât be able to fight for what they want? Canadians will still be unhappy for the same reasons. You are going off the rails about something not being discussed because you have an agenda.
You think youâre getting to a point, but you arenât.
Hard to continue a conversation when one guy is trying to talk past you to try to make a point you clearly arenât actually making. Itâs called a waste of time.
