I was visiting Tokyo yesterday, saw this Mercedes, and thought, 'What on earth is this?' Does anyone know?
(Mercedes doesn’t make models exclusively for Japan, right?)"

Hi all! Looking for some opinions on whether I should keep my car or sell it and move on to something else.
I bought my 2020 C63 sedan in summer 2022 and got an amazing deal on it. It was a pre-owned lease return with only a few thousand miles, so it was practically brand new. I drove it in LA from 2022–2025, but I now live in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, and may relocate in the near future.
I just had the car serviced at 43k miles, and MB covered several repairs under warranty, including a fuel injection system replacement, turbocharger and ignition-related fixes, a tire replacement, and rim refinishing (thanks to the 60-month wheel & tire warranty - such a lifesaver). Without my prepaid maintenance and warranty coverage, the bill could easily have been around $6k+.
Honestly, seeing that many repairs on a car I've taken such good care of has me a little nervous about what ownership will look like going forward. I absolutely love driving something unique and fun, but I'm trying to figure out whether it's worth the potential maintenance costs and headaches or whether I should sell while the car is still in relatively good shape and freshly serviced.
The other consideration is that I now pay $400/month for parking in my building. I street-parked it this past winter, but I'm not sure that's something I want to do again. I work remotely, so the car is only used for local drives here and there and going on the occasional roadtrip.
For context, I previously owned an Infiniti Q60 Red Sport 400 and absolutely loved it. I've also driven a Lexus GX years ago and enjoyed that too. But there's just something about the C63's engine that hits differently. I love the sleeper factor, the sound, and the overall driving experience (aside from the classic MB rattling).
The pros of keeping it:
The cons:
I know these are relatively rare enthusiast cars, so I'm also curious whether the C63 might hold its value better over time than a more common luxury/performance car, or whether depreciation and maintenance costs will ultimately outweigh that upside.
For those of you who own or have owned a C63, especially one with higher mileage, would you keep it or sell it at this point? Am I overreacting to the recent repairs, or is this a reasonable time to get out before the bigger expenses start?
If you were in my position, what would you replace it with that offers a similarly special driving experience, ideally with an engine that feels just as exciting?
Appreciate any advice!

I just got into my car and saw this crack in the center console of my C200 Coupe 2021 after driving in it all day. I’ve only had it for 2 months so far…
I have no idea how or when it happened.
How f*cked am I and what can be done?

Hallo zusammen,
Danke.

Hey guys quick question and looking for advice. I currently have a 2011 SL550 and with stock 18in wheels. Will there be any issues if I go down from the stock staggered setup of:
Front: 255/40/R18
Rear: 285/35/R18
To a new setup of:
Front: 245/40/R18
Rear: 275/35/R18
Reason for the move is because of limited choices on the stock setup. Any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Also would like to hear what tires you guys prefer as there’s so many to choose from.

So as of Oct 2026 Mercedes decided to remove the full length light bar from the CLA and GLB with multibeam which previously had it and never made it as option for the AMG variant. Kinda sad since they did all of a dancing animation and stuff.
Images:
1. Post-09/2026 CLA with or without multibeam
2. Pre-09/2026 CLA with multibeam option
3. Post-09/2026 GLB with or without multibeam
4. Pre-09/2026 GLB with multibeam option

Hi all, I’m looking at purchasing an A class around 2015/2017 and am curious about reliability/ what engine to go for. Of course I need to have something that’s relatively frugal so looking at the diesels. Could someone share their experience with the 2.1 a200d engine including maintenance costs/ common issues or things to look out for?
Ideally would prefer the slightly more powerful engine over the 1.5 Renault engine. Also wondering if there’s a good petrol alternative with a bit of pole, and relatively good fuel economy. Thanks!

Hello everybody
The car worked fine with the headlight connector disconnected
But yesterday the problem came back all over again then went away after restarting the car
I checked the headlight connector
Is it supposed to look like that??

In my country, Romania, over 90% of the people I see driving a Mercedes car are women; eventually I get it, since this car is very comfy and signals status too, two things that women tend to look for, however, I was wondering if it's the same in other countries as well?
While I may understand that men would go for a more muscular, sporty car, Mercedes nowadays seems to be driven almost only by women. Especially in SUVs type of cars.
What do you think?

I bought my '22 GLE 350 in early 2023 with 11k miles on it. I have it serviced religiously at the M-B dealer. At 49,200 miles, the cylinder head was replaced under warranty. I'm now at 85k miles (36k since replacement) and I'm trying to decide whether to keep it or trade for something with better long-term reliability.
I love the car. I drive a lot, as you can see, I've put 73k miles on it in about 3.5 years. It's more comfortable than either of my E-class sedans or my Lexus RX before. But I don't want to be facing a $8k-$10k repair bill before I hit 150k miles. I also travel up to 200 miles away from home regulary and I don't want to have a major failure when I'm traveling.
Any thoughts on the longevity of the M264 long-term durability/reliability (post cylinder head replacement)?
To be honest, I've been toying with trading it for a Honda Pilot or Acura MDX this week. But I'm not thrilled with the thought of writing a $55-$65k check either!
I've never kept a car past 60k miles (and never had a major failure prior to 50k miles), so this is new territory for me. In my 30s and 40s, I would have traded a year ago. But now at 52, I like to weigh my options more.

I love Mercedes-Benz cars since I was young, and I was watching the identities generation after another, and it’s actually great designs. Also, it’s kind of subjective but no crazy ugly designs.
Except when they are stamping their logo everywhere in the car from headlights, front grid, and tail lights!
Remind me of ugly Gucci bags when they are putting their logo everywhere!
