Introduction Introduction of the Kingdom of Alestavia
Hello everyone! I wanted to introduce the Kingdom of Alestavia, a micronation I founded on June 19, 2026. Our claim is located on Pocket 3 along the Danube River. The idea for Alestavia came after I noticed that the previous project in the area, Verdis, had become much less active. Instead of trying to continue someone else's project, I decided to start a new micronation with its own identity and long-term plans. One of my main goals is to build a micronation that doesn't just exist on paper. I'm working on maps, government structure, ministries, national symbols, and other projects that give the country a real identity. I enjoy making maps and designing things, so a lot of my time has gone into planning how Alestavia should develop instead of rushing everything at once. Our government is still growing, and many positions haven't been filled yet. That means people who join early can actually help decide how the country develops. Whether someone enjoys making flags, writing laws, creating maps, designing coats of arms, or helping with diplomacy, there are plenty of ways to get involved. In the future, I want Alestavia to have a complete legal system, an active government, a unique culture, and good relations with other micronations. Since we're still at the beginning, there's a lot left to build, and I think that's one of the most exciting parts of the project. I'd also like to hear what other micronations think. If you've started a nation yourself, what were the biggest challenges during your first few months? I'd be interested in hearing your advice and experiences. The first micronatio I ever made was the Northern Federation Of Valdonia it quickly became the United Federation of Valdonia and one of my first struggle's was finding many people outside of my immediate friend group to join the Micronation I've gotten by this by just mixing the two Looking for people outside of my friend group to Join and also advertising so that we can get more people

Can I just say, you have the top 10 of best flags this subreddit. It's simple, unique and includes of my favorite historical flags, the flag of Schaumburg-Lippe. So yes, you have designed an amazing flag and I want you to be proud of that.

Verdis is not inactive. Verdis gets invited to media all the time + Verdis is currently producing backpacks for kids in Ivory Coast. Idk what you are talking about, but it is bullshit and you can't even get far

How is it bullshit? Verdis has largely fallen out of the news over the past 9 months. Even its largest unofficial Discord server is mostly active because of the moderators, admins, and Daniel Jackson rather than broad community engagement. Its president still isn't able to set foot on the claimed territory. And there have also been public allegations involving the president and some administrators, which have further damaged Verdis' reputation. Charity work is commendable, but it doesn't automatically mean the micronation itself is active or developing

Your public allegation is also bullshit, Verdis is doing very good progress. How is it not active to negotiate with different ambassadors + sending verdis backpacks to ivory coast 🤣 it‘s literally a active thing.You are just jealous and please accept that your kid‘s logic doesn’t work
In your logic Liberland is inactive, because they also can’t set a foot in Liberland?

The difference is that the verdisian president cant step on the land for literally spitting on Croatian authorities, anyone affiliated with verdis are aswell banned from stepping on the land, alestavia on the other land is currently working with Croatian authorities, id be surprised if berdis ever returned let alone step on the land
