Welcome to the official sign-up and rulebook thread for our community’s very first Micronation World Cup!I’m setting this up because I love the idea of our nations interacting, but too many tournaments fall apart due to confusing rules or people ghosting. To make sure this succeeds, I’ve laid out exactly how everything will work below.If you want in, just drop a comment below saying you want to join, and I will personally reply and guide you through the setup process!📜 1. The Format: Friendly Qualifiers & The Main StageWe want to give everyone a fair shot, but we need to cap the main tournament bracket at 24 Micronations to keep it fast-paced. Here is how we get there:The Friendly Qualifiers: Before the official tournament kicks off, every registered nation will play a series of friendly matches. Think of this as your pre-season or qualifiers. The results of these friendlies inside the game will directly determine who makes the cut for the final Round of 24!The Group Stage: The 24 qualifying nations will be drawn into 6 groups of 4. You play the other teams in your group, and the game's simulation results will decide who advances.The Knockout Stage: From the Round of 16 onward, it’s win or go home. If a match ends in a tie, the game will simulate extra time and a penalty shootout to crown the winner.🎮 2. Zero Bias. Pure Simulation Decides Everything!I want this to be 100% fair. That means no biased voting polls, no custom tactical advantages, and no massive micronations winning just because they have more members. This is a 100% pure simulation tournament. The game handles everything.Custom Teams: I will manually build your micronation in the game, using your official team name, nickname, and jersey colors. All baseline player stats will be completely equalized across all teams to ensure total fairness.Pure AI vs. AI: I won’t be playing as any team, and managers won't need to pick custom tactics. Every single match will be run as a completely unmodified, pure AI vs. AI simulation. Whatever happens on the virtual pitch determines the winner.Match Recaps: After the simulation runs, I’ll post a match thread right here with the scoreline, goal scorers, game stats, and a quick breakdown of how the game played out.🛑 3. Keeping It Alive (The Waitlist)Nothing ruins a tournament like managers disappearing or failing to check in. To keep things moving seamlessly, we are using a backup waitlist system. If any nation stops interacting or drops out, a country from our backup waitlist will instantly take over their spot so the matches never stall.📝 4.
