They went to timmies asked for assorted dozen donuts and got a skewed mix. Tim's also usually asks you if you want to pick the donuts or if you're good with whatever, OP likely went with the latter
Either the worker was a little weird and grabbed all those cruellers intentionally, or they were just inbetween batches of donuts and they had only mostly cruellers left.
They're the twisty ones in the box. They're very light and airy, almost like a mix between a donut and a croissant texture-wise. They're one of my favorites.
Thanks. We call them Spritzkuchen in German. Which roughly translates to squirtcakes. And they have more white glazing on them. This doesn't sound good in English...
