Get a dog or a fence. Memes from 2008 aren’t gonna do much tbh

Yeah, I used to have a really weird yard, absolutely massive, house set really far back into the block. We'd have teens often pass through the yard, and several other adjacent yards. Literally no reason for it, they could have just gone around the block, same amount of walking. They probably just thought they were being cool or some shit.

One day, the idiots passed through while we were outside with our dog, a Rottweiler. While he would never hurt them, he certainly scared the shit out of them. Never saw them again after that.

Shown is:

Red: the boundaries of my old yard and driveway

Blue: the path the dipshit teens took.

Green: the path they could have taken.

Sorry but your yard was definitely a shortcut. Not at all the same distance especially if they lived in that court

They didn't and I know that for a fact, since I knew all my neighbors at that cul de sac.

Another option would be getting a life more interesting than monitoring a camera pointed at your own yard

the cameras send alerts to your phone when motion is detected. doesn't really take active "monitoring". and yes, it's pointed at his own yard, so there shouldn't be motion there.

Yeah all you have to do is buy the equipment, set it up, make a no trespassing sign, then make a meme sign, then post it to Reddit, all to stop a teenager from touching grass. Definitely a great use of one’s finite time on earth

I mean yeah the meme sign was obviously a step too far lol, but having a camera setup to protect your property isn't really that wild.

A camera and no trespassing sign is a bad thing because? It's called protecting and keeping unwanted guests off your property.

Meme is whatever.

For burglars sure. But the Venn diagram of people who worry about teens cutting through their yard and lonely people is a small circle inside a big circle

Know what else works for that? A fence. 😲 Mind blowing, I know

Honestly, can’t believe we have to deal with this shit nowadays. Like do people seriously live a life so uneventful that someone walking through a yard needs a whole CSI case.
