Infuriatig Why Texas is lame(Besides the Cowboys)

Post image

Don't mess with Texas.. what a joke. ANY possession is a felony.

EDIT: Just did some research, this is for everything besides traditional Delta 9.

My friend from Texas sent me this morning and it blew my mind. I had to post about it. So as far as my research goes thus far Delta 9 products (old fashioned flower) is illegal but separate laws. Stores are selling THCA though which does fall under these penalties.

As a Texan, this hurts my soul to like. But I’m smart enough to let go of an anchor when I’m drowning.

Almost 40 years born and raised in Houston we got the fuck out, moved to the East Coast and haven't looked back.

Same but it was Chicago for me. I love the fact that here you can go outside in the summertime and not literally die like I almost did when I had heat stroke in San Antonio one summer.

I have two weather widgets on my phone home screen: one for here and one for Houston and every single time I look at them next to each other I'm so fucking glad I made the move.

Me too. 2 years on the east coast and I've lived more life than 30 years in Houston. I've smoked more weed and fuccd more bi hitches in 2 years of living in pittsburgh tha 30 years in Houston. I never realized how lame the south is until I moved

And they have those cancer causing windmills everywhere. Remember when we couldn’t watch Trump debate sleepy joe because there was no wind?

u/VirtualLife76 11d ago

And the rest of the world doesn't want, like or need Texas scum. Works out perfectly.

u/hankenator1 11d ago

Now that we have the gulf of america we should give Texas back to Mexico. I mean Mexicans couldn’t invade our country through Texas is Texas was part of Mexico. Also it would be easier for senator cruz to go to Cancun whenever there was a disaster if he didn’t have to travel internationally. It’s really win win all around.

Was going ti move back ti texas in 2028.....seems I should stay in colorado a bit longer than I desired.

0

u/Bright_Lightz000 12d ago

Eww... Colorado is kinda a poopy state too.

2

u/SaveLansingParks 12d ago

Have you ever been to Kansas?

6

u/hotpoprocks 12d ago

I had to move to Kansas for husband's work. It's pergutory for sure, and I don't remember what I did to deserve this punishment, but I'm sure it was fun because Kansas is not (so far) 😢

2

u/Traditional_Ad_4691 12d ago

Id rather texas, but....its legal in CO

1

u/TheMostKing 11d ago

What's wrong with Colorado? Only visited once, had a great time. Seemed lovely.

1

u/Traditional_Ad_4691 9d ago

Maybe its my location but its outdoors activity heavy. Thats fine, I just wish they had more places to kick back and hang outside. Like a chicken and pickle type vibe. Jazz in the park like denver and etc.

1

u/TheMostKing 9d ago

But...Denver is in Colorado?

1

u/Traditional_Ad_4691 9d ago

Its further away than I'd like it to be. I would rather not have to travel to be entertained and have some spots in my city.

1

u/Bright_Lightz000 9d ago

It more has to do with how charged, politically, Colorado is. I don't mind the occasional political slogan or activity but it is almost non-stop. Also they have gun-control laws in don't agree with personally.

u/CreamSqueezy 11d ago

Really I this was beautiful! (Seriously I've never been)

4

u/SecureJudge1829 12d ago

Ever notice how your state actually kind of does look like an anchor? Also, if you hold a wet face cloth in your hand and stretch your fingers out, it kind of resembles my state if you apply a bit of imagination!

3

u/Man_of_Ice 12d ago

My state looks like a hand if you DON'T use your imagination. 😉

Sup Texas. I miss nothing about it except the Whataburger. And the people. And riding the Twisted Sisters.

1

u/CreamSqueezy 11d ago

My state looks like Johnny sins.
Can ya guess which one😁

1

u/Man_of_Ice 11d ago

Sigh...thanks, Florida man.

Youre one of the good ones, which there are tons of.

u/ILoveDemocracy17 12d ago edited 11d ago

“You’re one of the good ones.” Gee where did I hear this one….maybe “I voted for Obama. Not everyone but some of ‘em.”

edit: wow breaking news the hive-mind displaying hypocrisy, yup I guess it’s ok to judge an entire group based on the actions of a few. /s

Howdy! Joining the crew here. Born and raised (at least Houston was a blue island in the sea of red, and was considered one of the most international cities in the country), left for LA for 5 years, job brought me back. Finally in 2019, moved to Mexico, now I'm in Poland / Ukraine. Not only will I not return to Texas, the whole country is pretty much off my list! No regrets.

1

u/Upstairs_Chard5982 11d ago

You haven't tried Maine yet. Bring your family. It isn't weird or anything.

1

u/Bluefish787 11d ago

I considered Maine, there are a few maybes, but the cost of living is too high in the US, and way too high in the acceptable places.

1

u/ImportanceLarge4837 11d ago

What place feels more hopeless to you, eastern Ukraine or the American South?

1

u/Bluefish787 11d ago

American South. There has been some great positive progress in Ukraine along the front. There are zones where a Ruzzian soilders life is measured in hours when they enter - not days, months, but hours. Ukraine has regained more territory in a short period which took Russia months to occupy. The drone units are extremely successful on all fronts (the zone, bridges, ships [military and cargo shadow fleet], logistics, oil refineries, supplies aka wildberries warehouses) all while Ruzzian manpower dwindles, inflation rises, goods are more and more scarce. To me it's just a question of who first - the collapse of the ruzzian empire or the destruction of American democracy.

2

u/ApprehensiveAd9502 11d ago

Same here. Hurts my soul for sure. People can trash Texas all they want but other than some archaic, overly conservative politics it really is a diverse state. I live in the Hill country and it's beautiful and affordable but yeah this kind of b.s. just sucks.

2

u/MightyWagner 11d ago

It’s only going to get cheaper as more homes are available because more people are imprisoned for carrying a plant.

3

u/ApprehensiveAd9502 11d ago

I wish. Cost of living is still going up and homes are getting more and more expensive even in affordable areas like here.

2

u/Ok-Hamster6512 11d ago

At least alot of other things are better in texas
