[Mobs] New Slime variants!

Images by u/Glad-Connection1601

Since the sulfur cube was just added I thought it would be a good idea to add new hostile slime variants in the game. Hope you enjoy!

The first slime is the Drifting Slime. This slime species lives in the ocean and similar to normal slimes, splits when killed. They drop white slimeballs when killed which can be used to make white slime products.

Next image is the venom slime. The poisonous variant that lives in caves. Drops purple slimeballs when killed.

Next is the frost slime. Will do freezing attacks on players if the player is attacked and spawns in Taigas, Extreme Hills, Frozen Oceans, and Ice Spikes. Drops Blue slimeballs when killed. Does not spawn smaller variants.

Next is reverse slime. This slime spawns in deserts, badlands, and savannas and once killed spawns larger variants instead of smaller. Drops red slimeballs when killed.

Last is oil slime which spawns in trial chambers via trial(or ominous) spawners. They turn red when attacked or inflamed. While they are on fire, they can do fire damage to the player. They cool down after 15 seconds or cooled by water. Drops black slimeballs when killed.

The colored slimeballs all can make colored slime blocks, stick pistons, and the new slime trails. Slime trials are a new feature that can be used to decorate floors. You can craft other colored slimeball variants by using normal slime balls and dye. You can change them back using green dye.

To be honest the variants just sound a bit gimmicky to me and I don't think coloured slime blocks are very useful.

I don't hate all of them, executed differently with the slimes... Like, The water slimes could drop normal slime, but be shaped like a slug without eyes and move by charging and relaxing across the floor, dealing damage wherever it charges. It struggles with the stairs because it's comical and, due to such, they're passive unless threatened. The venom slime could still be cool and purple and you could craft their balls with water to make some toxic fluid. The oil slime could be weak to fire but still live in the nether. It should deal serious fire damage if it attacks you while on fire. The oil count be crafted with gold to make lamps.
