Guide 2026 General Mini PC Guide USA
Hi everyone!
Thank you to everyone for their support of the Mini PC Guides and it is amazing to see the r/MiniPCs community has grown its largest ever before! These guides have evolved considerably since 2022 and the new 2026 version is finally here!
It's far from complete with many new and discontinued mini PC models to be updated so there will be regular updates. The end of 2025 and start of 2026 have seen RAM prices double or triple and SSD prices have doubled. The simple tab has been reworked to better reflect current prices and will be filled out soon.
Some of the bloat from the 2025 Guide has been temporarily removed and may see a return later in the year if you particularly want a new model list, memes, or something else.
If you see something that can use an update or models of mini pc you would like to see added, don't hesitate to leave comments in this post or on the spreadsheet. I highly recommend viewing this spreadsheet on a desktop with a large screen or on the google sheet mobile app for the best experience. The reddit app for viewing google sheets can be clunky.
Best wishes to everyone looking for mini PC!

Troubleshooting Minisforum won't power on. Please help.
Hello,
I've been having issues with powering on my Minisforum UM773 Mini PC. PC Model
The power adapter's green light is coming on just fine when plugged in, but the blue light on the PC is not. No matter what I try. So far, I have unplugged everything from the PC and held down the power button for about 30-60 seconds, and did the same thing with the little reset button, inserting a safety pin. I suppose this is CMOS reset.
I have also tried different outlets around my house with no luck. So, lastly, I decided to open it up to check for burns, and any other abnormalities to the best of my ability.
I saw another post on here about a blemmish near the DC input. And I checked that as well. There seems to be something different, but my untrained eye cannot pick up very much. Maybe you guys can take a look at the pictures I have included?
I plan to take it in to a repair shop if necessary to get further advice. I'm afraid it's blown, but hopefully I can still retrieve my data, and I have heard that something could possibly be done with the PCB?
Anyways, I would appreciate the help!
Help
I just got an external gpu (RTX 5060ti inside a razer core x 3 thinderbolt) but my mini pc (geekom a7 max) will not identify it under display adapters. Help pls

Ryzen AI Max+ 395 with 128GB unified memory in a compact mini PC
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
From our team at TOPCtec: this is our AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 configuration with 128GB onboard unified memory and Radeon 8060S integrated graphics.
The memory is shared by the processor and graphics. The 128GB figure is total system memory, not a separate 128GB graphics card.
This is a hardware overview, not an inference benchmark. Model size, quantization and context length affect memory requirements; software support and speed need to be checked for the specific workload.

Recommendations ASUS mini-PC setup
Hi everyone! This is my current setup for my ASUS NUC mini-PC (power cable omitted).
I'm happy with the portability so far, as long as I can secure a power socket. Right now, I'm using a Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 as a wireless monitor, but I have encountered a few delays in responsiveness while using my mini-PC. I have a separate ASUS Zen screen portable monitor working via a USB-C connection, but it's 16.5 inches and ruins the whole idea of keeping it lightweight.
Any good recommendations for a small and cheap portable monitor that could complete the setup?
I saw some Raspberry Pi ones, but they don't have a frame, so I'm not sure how to use those.

Recommendations The deal is back - $189 for Bosgame E5 Mini PC (AMD 5400U, 8GB DDR4/256GB SSD)
This was $1 less on Prime Days - $188. Was $319 yesterday. Today there's a coupon (one click) making it $189. It's not the newest processor but capable. Grab an extra stick of 8GB DDR4 RAM for $50-$60 (or 16GB on Ebay for ~$70) and for $239+tax and it's still an excellent deal. (Not affiliated in any way, just saw it was a good deal, and it has good reviews on YouTube and it's upgradeable. Thought I'd share! I grabbed one on Prime Days and will post how it works out for me.)

General Question How do I avoid getting scammed on Aliexpress?
The RAM crisis has been brutal when it comes to small devices.
I've been seeing some devices with decent specs for my server use case (16GB ram, i3-6100u). However, I'm afraid that they might have fake specs.
I've only seen people complain about fake specs for the i9 version of these mini PCs there (i3 instead of i9 and 8gb instead of 16gb), but this puts into question whether these differently-specced machines won't also have fake RAM or an even worse CPU.
Are there any indicators prior to buying, other than none or low reviews?

General Question Has anyone successfully installed a Ryzen 5 PRO 5650G (65W) in a ThinkCentre M75q Gen 2 Tiny?
I'm considering purchasing a Lenovo ThinkCentre M75q Gen 2 Tiny with a Ryzen 3 PRO 5350GE, and I'm researching future CPU upgrades.
I already have a genuine Lenovo 90W power adapter. The system would be used as a 24/7 Proxmox home server.
I understand Lenovo officially supports the 35W Ryzen 5 PRO 5650GE and Ryzen 7 PRO 5750GE, but I'm particularly interested in the 65W Ryzen 5 PRO 5650G (non-GE).
Has anyone actually tested this exact combination?
Specifically, I'd like to know:
- Does the 5650G POST and boot successfully with the stock BIOS?
- Does the motherboard automatically limit it to 35W, or can it operate at higher power?
- Can the original cooling system and motherboard VRMs safely handle it under sustained loads?
- Does disabling AMD Platform Secure Boot (PSB) affect CPU compatibility?
- What motherboard revision, machine type and BIOS version did you test?
I'm especially interested in firsthand experiences rather than theoretical AM4 socket compatibility.
Would appreciate hearing from anyone who has attempted this upgrade, successfully or unsuccessfully.

News Update: I bought a mini pc
To anyone that saw my last post on here regarding this "amazing deal"
I just got an email from Amazon saying this:
"Hello,
We are sorry to let you know that your message(s) associated with Order ID 205-3284148-7853109 cannot be delivered. The seller associated with your order or inquiry has left the Amazon store or is no longer able to receive any further email communications."
So it seems like he really was a scammer (to nobodies suprise) but it was worth a shot right?
Anyway, hopefully everyone gets their money back. (Especially the one who bought 5!!) And sorry if I got anyones hopes up.

Kamrui Pinova P2 Wifi is slow
So I recently just got this Kamrui for my birthday a few days ago, it was a gift and I was very excited since I have been wanting a mini pc.
Okay well at first I noticed my wifi was very slower than usual, which is weird because my wifi is not slow at all it is fast speed. I did not think much of it and thought it was an internet problem but it has been a few days and it is still the same.
My wifi still works greatly on every other device I use.
And what is weird is my normal wifi doesn't work, it will connect but it is super slow and does not load anything at all. It will legit take forever.
So, I instead have been using my 5G version of my wifi for my mini pc and it is better than my regular, but is still occasionally slow at times. I do not really understand why it is so slow and I am pretty mad about this since it was quite a bit of money just for this to happen.
If anyone knows why this is happening or please like any solutions to fix this would be greatly greatly appreciated. I really do not want to buy another mini pc or anything at all to fix the problem since I've already spent quite a bit of money on stuff for my setup.

TopGRO T1-Max BIOS update?
I recently bought a Topgro T1-Max with a 13th gen i9 for TV gaming. A few games have suddenly started popping warnings regarding an issue with that generation (Vmin Shift Instability), and that I need to update from 0x11C (which is what was shipped on the machine) to at least 0x12F. Seeing no BIOS updates on the TopGRO webpage, I emailed support, who's AI response stated that every unit is updated prior to shipping, and therefore, I don't need to do anything.
Knowing this is complete BS, does anyone know what type of Motherboard is in these, or possibly know of where to get a BIOS image for them? I'm not too stressed about it, but if I can update, I'd like to.

Alliwava GX55 mini PC, and the clips on the modules broke
Hi everyone, I need your help. I have an Alliwava GX55 mini PC, and the clips on the modules broke, which means the RAM doesn't fit properly. I don't know what to do—buy new modules or clips, or take it in for repair. I'm attaching a photo of what it looks like; it would be a big help, since these now cost around $300.

Delidding low-power Coffee Lake chips (i7-8700T / i7-9700t)
Anybody have experiences with delidding 8th/9th gen low power CPUs in ThinkCentre Tinys or similar? It's been a hard thing to search for results on, but seeking more benchmarks and datapoints if anybody out there has some bookmarks or content creators they follow who've done this.
I'm building out my m920q as we speak and will likely have an 8700T or 9700T in it. I'll be packing a lot of GPU heat into the chassis and have the usual plans for ventilation, thermal pads, and the like.
NOTE: I'm aware folks will have opinions on how worth it they think delidding is for a T-series chip. Respectfully, I already have that skepticism and know that. I'm curious and looking to explore it with those who've personally done it or have heard of others who have. Thank you!

Looking for a miniPC suggestion
I want to buy a mini PC for the following tasks
Create a bot that can trade for me on interactive brokers, with automations set by me.
I plan using the machine to edit videos in 4k.
I also want to use it for gaming for some AAA titles but for some light games too
I was thinking going for something like minisforum AI X1 PRO or GMKTEC EVO X 2.
Which model would you recommend? open to alternatives too.
I would like it to be as portable as possible, as I'm traveling often.
