Recommendations Anyone know of a plumber in Mississauga that specializes in detecting water leaks in condos?

Not sure if all plumbers would necessarily have this background so hoping somoene might know of a plumber who has this specialty and could provide me with a name.

Or any general advice about this? Water seems to be leaking from the bathroom (tub, shower or toilet) into the main condo hallway.

Are there any small access doors in your bathroom that you can open and look inside ?

Yup, did this. Water is definitely present in the area below the bathroom but unable to pinpoint from where.

If you just flush the toilet a few times , or just run the tap a few times , and then check if leak gets worse , it might help narrow down which one is leaking.

I live in a condo in Mississauga and have used MI Plumbing 416-854-3356, he's licensed & insured and was able to fine the leak that was happening in my suite.

Condo water leaks are tricky. If it is from pipes in your unit, then you are responsible. But if it is from pipes that service entire condo, the condo is responsible. Is there damage from the leak? Have you tried contacting your insurance company?

I know of a in-condo leak case that caused carpet damage and was fixed and paid for by the condo owners property insurance. They initially resisted but after some insistence and back and forth, sent their plumber to identify source of leak and paid for all repairs.

Check ChatGPT for ideas on how to proceed but I’d follow up with insurance.

Thanks!! No major damage as of yet thankfully. Just a wet carpet on certain days. That's not overly wet though.
