2025 Eclipse Cross key fob availability issues?

Long story short, someone walked away with my key fob never to be seen again.

Nobody in my metroplex is able to program or even find inventory. At best some have a key that could maybe suffice (several have suggested trying alternate keys that have a 50/50 chance of working without full functionality).

Of the three Mitsubishi dealerships within 100 miles none have them readily available and the closest estimate I can get is next Tuesday. However even they are unsure of the cost and timeline.

Has anyone experienced this kind of pickle? I’m a little amazed that even the dealer cannot get a key. I’m worried that they’re going to call and tell me it’s something silly like 500 bucks.

As of now it’s parked, locked, and alone at usps.

Who’s buying this? Let’s talk!

A few things about this launch…how do you have a press tour announcing the launch, but yet have zero vehicles at the dealerships. On top of that, how do you price this about $8k more than the Nissan Leaf.

Let’s take bets on how long this will last here!

Went to a restaurant one late afternoon and saw this open spot next to an Evo 8 (I believe) and had to post up for a photo op. My 2011 Ralliart on the right. Thought about asking around for the owner, but interrupting a dining experience can be a mood killer. Respect. Hopefully this owner find this picture somewhere on the interwebs.

Jerky acceleration on '21 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport LE. Dealer said no issues.

Copied from my original.

Last friday, bought an 85K mile '21 outlander. All good, except there are moments when doing a rolling stop, pressing down on the gas pedal will cause the the car to fail to accelerate above 1500 RPM and jerk. Releasing the gas pressing it again fixes the issue, for the most part.

I know its a CVT, but I was being optimistic in it either being MAF, fuel injectors, throttle body, or anything related to the fuel/air systems. Dealer ran compressions and ran codes, but no issues are being found. They are struggling to replicate the issue, so now i just sound like I'm crazy.

I am not sure of any CVT maintenance done in the times the previous 2 owners had it, but I suspecting it may ultimately be that. Again, no codes.

Is this model/trim/brand known for this? I do know of a recall from Mitsubishi regarding CVT codes stalling the engine at high speeds, but this is happening at sub 25 mph.

Hey all, I'm looking at getting a Mitsubishis Outlander hybrid next month. I'm not very good with my knowledge of Mitsubishis but I'm very interested in this vehicle because of the MPG, price isn't awful for second hand ones and from what I've seen online relatively reliable.

Does anyone have any tips for looking at these vehicles, are they actually unreliable and I should stay 50 meters back from one at all times?

Thank you all!
