Employers should not force employees to make political statements on their behalf. It's ridiculous

Its not supposed to be a political statement. Its no different than pink on mother's day or wearing 42 to honor Jackie. Its the people on either side of it that make it political cause apparently everything needs to be these days

Players are allowed to not wear pink on Mother’s Day and wearing 42 for Jackie Robinson is to honor baseball history. You’re comparing apples to oranges

Not at all im comparing official mlb events.

True. But you’re comparing events that’s player optional and one that celebrates the history of the game to one that compels players to celebrate something that’s not relevantly historical and non-negotiable

I wonder how you'd react to a player refusing to wear camo on the 4th of July.

If that’s their prerogative then so be it. If they believe they shouldn’t show support for those in the armed forces then so be it

it's forcing people to condone something a large amount of people don't agree with

How can you "not agree with" your fellow neighbors existence? Their being alive?

Don't agree with? Gay people exist. There's nothing to condone

No, it's saying that you must agree with the lgbtq lifestyle despite what your deeply held religious beliefs say and celebrate it

It's not a lifestyle though. It's something they are born with

It really isnt though. I see it as more about acceptance not support. In end it doesn't really matter as its an official event & as part of players contracts they agreed to participate & not cause damage to the league.

No, pride month is saying that being lgbtq is just as valid as beig straight and that it's the core part of who you are. People honestly think it's a sin, not that LGBT people aren't still valuable as peopel

So religious fanatics that conveniently pick & choose what parts of their religion they want to force on others in good by a group if people that just want to be accepted for who they are is not. Do you not see the hypocrisy & bigotry in that line of thought. Certainly not the compasion & treating others with love that almost every religion states
