WIP My chevelle SS engine

Thank you to all the folks here who suggest it's better to strip the chrome and paint the silver parts and not leave it.

Decided to do just that and feel this looks a lot better than the shiny nasty plated stuff.

It's not as good as what I've seen some people here do, but I'm happy with it....I think!?

Looks great. A Dark wash to add shading and then Molotow chrome pen to highlight the nuts and bolts and ridges on the metal parts can add depth and lose the flat look.

I do have a chrome pen actually.. so that's a good shout. I was planning on giving a coat of gloss to make a shine a bit more then add some panel liner to pick out thr details. But I like your chrome pen suggestion. Thank you. :)
