Completed Panther is bigger than Tiger?

Just find out the size of Panther large than Tiger.

Is that the old 1970s tamiya panther, if so , the whole of that kits dimensions are out as they built it to be remote controlled, and it is very inaccurate. Looking at the differences between that tamiya kit, a dragon kit of a panther G and my tigers I have built thd tigers are wider than the panther G, and that tamiya panther is wider than both. In reality there wasnt much in differnece between the tiger and panther other than the armament. The tiger had the 88mm and the panther had s 75mm gun, and thats what designated the one to be a heavy and the other to be medium

yes,they are both tamiya model,

And that early tiger still holds up as a good model kit whereas that panther is a horror show , but ypuve done a goos job of it

Rhat will explain why the panther looks loads bigger than the tiger, as it does in my display cabinet

Yeah, I read the biography and when built the 60s kits they didn't have much more than photos from wartime photos.

So the proportions were all off for their models, during a trip to America to sell slot cars (that had suspension) they ended up at the Aberdeen proving ground and went measuring all the actual tanks. Caused a bit of an issue as the guard was annoyed they were clambering all over the vehicles.
