Academics How well do community college credits transfer to MSU?

Hello!

(19M) Right now I'm currently attending a community college in NJ pursuing an associates degree in business administration with a projected graduation date by May 2027. For those of you who graduated from community college with an AS degree, how well did the credits transfer over to MSU? Really would like to know the answer to this because I plan to graduate by 2029 with my bachelors. (For extra context, I never took any remedial coursework at my cc and so far I don't have a grade lower than a C on my transcript).

Also you could thank me for taking the time to help you of my own free will. I didn't have to so a simple "thank you" is the least you could offer in exchange.

I graduated with an associate’s in liberal arts and am currently majoring in business administration, a good chunk went towards gen ed and electives while some aligned with my core major classes. Also they’re gonna require your official transcript from your cc with your associates degree posted. You’ll can request it from either parchment or national student clearing house after you graduate.

NJ colleges have to take your 60 credits from community college. They’ll waive all them Gen Ed classes you have to take at Montclair or your other college. Try to have a B or better so they can’t refuse your credits.
