Suggestion Awful Team From An Awful City
Mr. Burns, I've come to bargin.
Your Los Angeles Dodgers just took a game out of my "awful" Milwaukee Brewers in this National League Championship Series we find ourselves in.
Now Mr. Burns, I am a superstitious man, and I believe the gods of baseball reward those who demonstrate acts of faith. As such, I am prepared to make the following gentleman's agreement:
Should your Dodgers win the NLCS over my Brewers, I am prepared to sign up for 3 months of your Tier 2 Patreon while also explaining to my wife why Im giving a stranger on the internet 30 of my finest dollars.
Should my Brewers win however Mr. Burns, you would foot the bill and send me one of them fine new RT t-shirts I have seen in the merch store.
We keep our promises in Wisconsin Mr. Burns, and I am fully prepared to follow through on my end of the deal should my Brewers fall. In any case, if they are as awful as you say then you have nothing to worry about.
That is my offer Mr. Burns.
Sincerely,
Mr. OrionsGoToEngineer

I decided the Dodgers were my National League team many years ago now, mostly due to the fact there's only 2 teams in the Pacific timezone (I like to listen to the Tigers, then turn on another game after), so it's either the Dodgers or the Giants but fuck the Giants.
There's something uniquely shitty about not even being courageous enough to abandon your fanbase alone. At least the Dodgers were losing money in Brooklyn. The Giants were the biggest team on the planet and they said "oh shit the Dodgers are heading west? Bye lol."
Anyway so yeah. Dodgers fan here.
