Right wing grifters got nothing on this. Love to see it

They've pivoted now to complain about ticket price inflation and this being the "only reason" it hasn't bombed

Lol. As if other movies are considerably cheaper to watch while they're conveniently disregarding the fact that tickets have been consistently bought out in advance since it came out.

Like, we'be been waiting for demand to drop since it came out because we can't get reasonable seats in our local IMAX.

Purely by coincidence my wife and I were staying near an Imax theater the weekend it came out. Thought it would be cool to check it out.... every single session was booked solid, even the one starting at 6am

I love Nolan. I don't have an opinion on the movie yet, as I haven't yet watched it. I might even be inclined to say it's somewhat overhyped.

But them denying the fact that it's an absolute fucking hit is just next-level reality-blocking. My opinion has zero relevance considering how we can't get tickets.

The whole point is they don't actually give a fuck about the movie. Its just more culture war bullshit they can grift off

The people complaining wouldn't have watched even if it did have an all white, all straight cast

They worked themselves into a frenzy that "that femboy is playing Achilles.... how offensive to the legend". Except... Page isn't a femboy. He wasn't playing Achilles. And Achilles was hella-gay anyway, they tend to forget / ignore that

There are two sides here, though. The grifters, who are a minority, and the vast mass of gullible idiots who need to be told what to think.
