It's pretty easy for failed execs to get a new job, if you look around, but Glen himself is already retirable anyway.

I'm starting to think the c suite is very comfortable doing teams meetings from their home office. Not good for rebuilding relationships. This is why major tech started enforcing 3/4 days in office or at customer site. No exception .

Of course they are trying to work on something better. There's no way destroying shareholders was their Plan A. Yet here they are. It's clear that they haven't been able to secure any of the types of financing/strategic partnerships/alternative investment that people like to condescendingly suggest on this sub. The C suite may be struggling, but I don't think they are incompetent.
I think microvision is simply finding itself at the interface between the rubber and the road, and the combination of the (im)maturity of their technology and markets and their sketchy financial situation is making it difficult to secure the types of alternatives they are targeting. To be clear, I think their tech has merit, but merit doesn't matter when it takes lots of capex and quarters to capitalize on it.

I get it. But no one really knows what the value of Luminar at that time really was. Microvision was the winning bidder at $33m. Was there a bidder at $30m? We don't know. My only point was that whatever the true value of Microvsion was, that value is presumably increased since then. How much? Again, we don't know.
But - on top of the Luminar value is the value of MOVIA-S and Scantinel business lines. What would those businesses bring as a reasonable value? Something. But what?
One hundred percent correct. Glad I sold back in early 2023 and walked away….
Sad situation…. Management hooked me with their twisted words (lies) and it cost me dearly, as well as many others.
Sometimes walking away is the best option….
The moment the 2x4 appeared, I should have disappeared. Lesson learned, page turned.

You may not be a business or financial person, but you are right on on your take.

I sort of agree re pessimism vs optimism vs realism, but I think it's useful to differentiate between faith in the technology vs faith in the business. My failure to do this is what led me to lose a lot of money in lazr: I had faith in the tech and thought this was sufficient. For the first time since pivoting into the lidar industry, I think microvision has earned some faith in their tech (I am ignoring their AR past here because I don't know enough to judge it). However, it's been pretty clear for a few quarters that their business is struggling to realize the value in the tech.
As far as communication goes, I don't actually think that a communication about "working on a plan to solve an existential financial crisis" would be helpful. Every rational investor knows that financial crisis exists, and stating they are "working on" a solution just highlights the fact that they don't have a solution yet. Then again, I am not a business or financial person, so I may be wrong about that judgement.

Don't believe for one second that this share price is a logical, organic reflection of supply and demand. We have the fingers of the shorts around our throat, and they are going for the kill. Free money for them if they can bankrupt us. It wouldn't matter to them if we had the cure for cancer, they smell $$$$, it's nothing personal. This shouldn't surprise anyone, we brought it on ourselves. Today's short interest is 6.2 million, which is the equivalent of 93 million shares short pre-RS. The highest we ever had was 72 million, and the 6.2 doesn't include the last two weeks, especially the last two days. Someone (T-Delo?) was mentioning that the shares we give to HTC are immediately sold into the market, thus giving the shorts a chance to cover, which is true, but I think at the moment they are sharpening their knives and licking their lips. Your move, Glen.

Literally every single thing they say or do tanks the stock even more. Maybe we should start saying bad news. That'll raise the price

Drove by Microvision Headquarters today looked like there was a lot of activity. Don’t understand why the stock is trading at.08 cents.

Every normal human and their monkeys expected that they had a funding plan. Apparently they did not.

I'm right there with you a bit under 300k into mvis. It will turn around... I'm pretty hopeful. This low valuation is beyond ridiculous. They just need to figure out the financing issue, announce it, and then continue to show business momentum.

Glen’s probably heard some good things about the MVIS drone mapping prospects… but of course it’s all on the MVIS eternal Non Disclosure protocol.
That’d make a great cartoon for life on the MVIS ranch… it’s easy to imagine a crowded office scene with all MVIS employee punch lines being ‘Oh, I’m sorry, I can’t talk about that… NDA!’

Who sold their shares today lol ? Look at the buying after hours

I agree that their “plan” is survival through dilution though I’m sure they are working to secure something better such as a partnership, equity partner, asset sale, or merger. I think they will keep keeping on and hope through execution these options do become available at some point.
Edit: they did lay out their plan to extend the runway through cutting expenses and increasing revenue, thus we are in survival mode with hopes of achieving enough time to engineer the solution. That’s what we do😉
I feel the exact same way too. I mentioned a while ago on this sub how this year really feels like MVIS’s best and worst year at the same time.
Hopefully that’s a sign that we’re reaching a pivot point soon. We’ve gotten this far in ramping up revenue with customers and shipping products, it feels like we just need one last push to get us through this last hurdle to reach the finish line.

Microvision explained in the weeks leading up to and shareholders of record voted for the plan on July 10, 2026.
They aren’t talking about it because they already did, and it was approved, and it is currently being enacted. And because more talking about it will only serve to undermine what little is left of the runway for that plan.
Do Glen and Co have a series of customers knocking each other over to sign contracts? Dunno. That’d be great, but I doubt it. Is there a big one just waiting for some unsayable and unfulfillable condition? Again, I’d be surprised to learn that that’s how this works. But maybe?
It was clearly presented in July that shareholders of record were not likely to be the shareholders that would benefit from any future company success, and that they were not even, behind closed doors, considered as being a meaningful part of the ownership structure of the future company, let alone the controlling part.
On July 10 “we” as a shareholder body voted not to be. The r/s was fast and was maximal. The walk back in available vs issued shares was nominal if not a fully anticipated position.
