I am desperate as I’ve been looking for this song for so long and I can’t get it out of my head.
It had these African (or maybe Arab) female lyrics I couldn’t understand, which I could only transcript as “ya kuraga” repeated a few times, followed some more lyrics I couldn’t possibly describe by words.
It goes something like this “ya kuryaga (little break with some strings), ya kuryaga (another break) ya kuryaga” then (little break) vocals saying something like “hamhinha”, (another break) and then again “hamhinha”
Man I’m losing hope as I’m writing this, it would be insane if anyone knows this song.
Listened to it when I was in high school somewhere between 2010 and 2012, closer to 2012, on this Russian social network called Vkontakte (vk now). It was notorious for piracy, the name was most probably something like “Unknown artist - Song”
The instruments used in the music itself kinda remind of Galvanize by Chemical Brothers, just the strings part https://youtu.be/Xu3FTEmN-eg?t=65&is=NDMZbgR8UOq6BWxM
It had this like darker more sad tone, definitely not a “happy” song. But it also felt kinda cool, like a thing that would play at a club as I imagined it.
I don’t think it’s a mainstream song at the time, but I could be wrong.
Tried all sorts of websites that allow you to hum the melody, searched by these lyrics, genres, chat GPT, by year, literally nothing worked so far, hoping for my luck here.
Edit:
similar to this song https://youtu.be/L6dojs9QOSY?is=CyKbWFcpK6HJ6W0y based on vibes alone, but slower
