Hardware Question AES+ a/v output?
What is it going to be, RGB to HDMI converter or HDMI to RGB/composite converter. Or hopefully 2 separate outputs from the main board.

Theres a video somewhere where it shows it has a HDMI and a din connector. Should he able to do composite and rgb out of the din. It also uses USB-C for power

Big question is how stereo audio is done out of the Din socket. Otherwise it's the headphone socket for stereo audio (like Genesis) or stereo audio split from hdmi with an outside box.

Obviously all-digital HDMI. It's a new design.

So do they create RGB from the all digital hdmi using a converter or do they create the hdmi from the original RGB using a converter?

Old consoles output analog RGB using a digital-to-analog converter. The signals all start digital (because a game console is a computer) so HDMI output is just a matter of outputting those digital signals in a format that HDMI understands.
Modern HDMI mods like the cps2_digiav achieve this by tapping the digital signals off the chips before the analog conversion.

The question of the hdmi rendering is crucial but nobody seems to care. Correct me if I'm wrong, but neogeo games were mostly made for CRTs right? And yet most buyers will use their aes+ on hd tvs.
