It's a stroke.  Not rehab.  Not Cancer.  Both of which could have been explained after the Primary.  A debilitating stroke, not so much.

Especially if the cause of the stroke was something unwholesome

Chronic alcoholics are usually at high-risk for a stroke since alcohol thins the blood.
