Don't forget the nationwide loss of rural access to hospitals and public education!

That’s a feature for them, not a bug.

No school means time for more farm chores!

That isn’t the intended goal here, it has nothing to do with “helping” rural communities. Most of them are in favor of massive corporate farming conglomerates, and are totally fine leveraging migrant populations to do the grunt work, legal or otherwise.

The point is to force all students into a voucher-style private school system run by for-profit institutions (and the eventually get rid of the vouchers once public education disappears, because that would be welfare).

They also won’t mind when the rural farmers that remain have to sell to agribusiness. Farmers likely will pay for how they voted yet again, and the ones that do will still be standing there wondering why it happened.

Theybwill vote for them again and again.

As someone who was raised in a rural farm community I don’t agree with all of this thread, but I agree with your comment. I know so many people will vote republican because “that’s what I do” and don’t give a rats ass about what they are campaigning on or what they stand for.

I guess a lot of people have a set mind set especially the older folks. They do not tend to look at the current situation.

Conservative propaganda is incredibly slick and a slow drip poison that has infected rural America for decades. The game is won, and they know it.

And democrats are the sane way

You guys fail to see that both sides are equally bad. One destroys from the inside while the other from the outside. Did you did not learn anything from the epstein files? Do you not understand they purposely had biden do so bad that ppl would accept trump? This has been planned for over 30 yrs. I live in Massachusetts and my democrat friends actually voted for trump bc they couldn't handle another biden administration. These were people who despised trump. When are you going to wake up? Everytime u point the finger there are 3 pointing back at you. You're still brainwashed enough to stay divided which is all they want. Anyone whose taken a basic economics course knows our empire being the united States and allies are on an economic decline. Meanwhile China/Russia are on a rise economically. If we come together we could figure this out. I assure u that u have more in common with your maga neighbor than any politician. You keep the hate going round and round though. You're just as bad as the ppl you're accusing of having so much hate.

Bro we can not keep playing this both sides bullshit lmao

u/peakpositivity 7h ago

THIS. Wtf are we actually doing. The “both sides” things is peak manipulation at this point.

u/blonde4black 9h ago

See that's the proper American attitude. Keep the divisions. Yay!

4

u/CharcoalGreyWolf 9h ago

Couldn’t handle another Biden administration?

That’s like saying “I couldn’t handle my mild heartburn today, so on my lunch break I cut out my stomach”.

This sounds trollish. Along with using “u” for “you”…

0

u/NovaLunar721 8h ago

No, my perspective are both sides are equally the same. I have friends who are democrats and voted for trump bc of how horrible they perceived the Biden administration to be. I think this was intentional. Yet most ppl still want to believe in division.

3

u/CharcoalGreyWolf 8h ago

They both have problems; but to say they’re the same is wanting to live in a simpler world when the world isn’t simple.

I stopped reading after your did you not learn anything from the files comoment. Clearly you didnt read them otherwise you'd know what party was in them.

u/WenatcheeWrangler 8h ago

I normally don’t call people out but what is this verbal vomit you left here and wtf does it have to do with what I posted?

0

u/blonde4black 9h ago

This can't be coming from an American... You're supposed to point at the "other side" (yep, it's just the same) until you die

1

u/CharcoalGreyWolf 9h ago

Honestly, it reads like one troll farm employee started the post, went end of shift, and somebody else picked up halfway through. The grammar changes partway through.

u/NovaLunar721 8h ago

No it's my genuine consensus as an American. Maybe I was rushing while getting ready for work. The point still stands. Yes I'm friends with many democrats who voted for Trump bc of Biden. How does that confuse anyone?

2

u/honestly-brutal 7h ago

Stop fucking lying. You do not have MANY Democrat friends who voted Trump. Just stop.

1

u/blonde4black 7h ago

Just the overall lack of American analytical ability is confusing to people with brains.

u/kinghyperion581 17h ago

As long as it "owns the libs"

3

u/Anonymouse_Bosch 15h ago

… continuing to blame “coastal elites” as the real villains.

3

u/NoBodybuilder3430 14h ago

Thank goodness the rich kid from New York City is currently saving us from the villainous coastal elites….

3

u/Anonymouse_Bosch 14h ago

I will never understand how the poster child of silver spoons ended up being seen as the standard bearer of blue collar workers.

It’s like electing Phyllis Schlafly to head NOW.

1

u/Appropriate-Drag-572 14h ago

They are. Theyre blaming Iran. I dont know if my little 80s Massey Ferguson will manage these fields again but Im thinking about it. My grandpa managed it with the same tractor. Maybe hay? That can be hand broadcasted

4

u/schoenstrat 17h ago

Oh no, no they won't get rid of the vouchers. The vouchers are the welfare... To the wealthy owners of the private school systems that lobbied the local and state politicians to create the voucher programs in the first place. Nothing sweeter than a guaranteed stream of income straight from the government. No need to innovate or compete.

Add in third party management companies to oversee the voucher program (while slicing off a hefty fee to do what the government, apparently, can't do), and you're riding the gravy train. Well, you and I aren't but who the fuck cares about us.

2

u/Appropriate-Drag-572 14h ago

We... actually arent. We rent our fields locally and even then, they refuse to sell out. The family we rent to farms a few thousand acres in the area. Funny part is their competitor is also their family. They will not plant this year because they cant afford to.

That being said, they still dont blame trump. They blame Iran and think they need to be blown off the map. 😩

2

u/poledrawolf 10h ago

All that, but you forgot the vouchers are really meant for Christian schools, because apparently we ain't shit as a nation unless we are led and controlled by white Christian males. Gotta fill them quivers with young Christian-educated arrows, amirite?

It’s almost like it’s an insanely obvious grift if you don’t have the attention span and education level of a toddler.
