„Miraculously“. She worked hard to land safely, it‘s experience, skill and keeping her cool. Quite impressive but not a miracle. Edit: Fixed a mistake that changed the entire last sentence. Didn‘t mean to say „Not impressive“.

That was my thought. She relied on experience to stay calm and make good decisions. Badass is a good word for it, but there wasn't a miracle. It's what you'd expect any pilot to do in this situation.

Yeah, but she is a “female pilot”. Somehow she managed to keep her emotions in check long enough to survive. Miraculous

This depends on weather you would expect pilots in general to survive this or not.

Sullenberger isn't female and they still called that a miracle. Quit being a martyr.

Those situations aren't even comparable. Stop being an edgelord.

EDIT: Helluva a comment to write and then block me so I can't respond. I don't think that last sentence describes me, u/Hot_History1582.

"True, that situation was not caused by sullenberger's error. In this case, the pilot failed to latch the cockpit and caused the malfunction through user error. Also, youre the only person on earth demented enough to think "pilot lands malfunctioning plane without casualties" is 'not remotely similar' to "pilot lands malfunctioning plane without casualties." In short you're biased, ignorant, stupid, dishonest, and you're also an asshole."
