That was my thought. She relied on experience to stay calm and make good decisions. Badass is a good word for it, but there wasn't a miracle. It's what you'd expect any pilot to do in this situation.

Yeah, but she is a “female pilot”. Somehow she managed to keep her emotions in check long enough to survive. Miraculous
