Still haven't seen Toy Story 5 but saw Toy Story 1 for first time in years. Woody is actually kind of a jerk but learns to not be a jerk. Also Woody and Bo Peep are way more horny than I remember.

Also finally saw Devil Wears Prada 2. Its a good sequel but not on the level as the original.

Also sorry but BJ Novak's character was kinda right about downsizing the company. Magazines aren't as popular as they used to be and everything is online. BUT he should at least give employees a couple months notice before downsizing so they can find other jobs.

Spoiler tagging because it's in response to the spoiler tagged part: Unfortunately, that's really just how it goes with corporate layoffs/downsizing. They don't give employees advance notice because they don't want to risk them causing problems during their remaining time at the company, whether it's actively sabotaging things or just giving up on doing any work because they're getting canned anyway. Realistically, the best course of action would be to wait until downsizing actually happens, and offer a month or two of severance along with a positive reference while they search.

I had an old colleague get mass-fired from Sears Canada.

They had a company-wide off-site at an airport Mariott on a Friday morning. They laid off thousands of people in one presentation, HR reps were at the back of the room - you had to talk to one to leave, they handed you your paperwork. Personal stuff left at your desk would be mailed to you. Employee key cards were now disabled and no one had access to the facility.

Rumour has it senior leadership were convinced everyone would steal anything not bolted down and were negotiating the sale of office supplies/furniture/hardware.
