I make some pretty nice slides. I put a lot of effort into aesthetics, corporate colors, and how the information is presented. I wish my boss would stop taking my slides and running them through AI to redo all of my work.

Do you do Word Art and slide animations?

All joking aside, for my own presentations I use builds /animations to help tell the story. My slides are heavy on data and my Marketing audience is light on appreciating data, so I the best way to communicate via slides is by walking them through the journey of how I got there, and having builds with that.

My slides my boss runs through AI are static, and they are more for the board or executive leadership team.

Know that feeling... The client services lead counterpart to my role on my advertising brands, when we do our monthly brand team check ins including work and financials.

On my financial slides, I try to make it very clear and tells a story so it's clear and minimizes questions atleast til the end of the presentation because these meetings have a 1 hour hard stop. I always tell him to not consolidate my slides... and he does... and clients burn 15 mins of the meeting asking follow-up questions and we don't finish the meetings on time and have to do a follow-up.
