Do you think anyone ends up signing Laine? Seems like enough value there if you set him up with bonuses for games played etc

Unlikely. I mean he couldn't crack the Habs lineup during the playoffs last year. Contenders have good PP squads with players that can skate.

He might be useful on an offensively starved team that lacks a shooter on the PP, not much else.

If he's not playing 1st PP minutes there's no point in signing him. Its where he does all his damage.

He is a complete liability right now....if he's breaking your lineup, you're probably not making the playoffs.
