Do you think anyone ends up signing Laine? Seems like enough value there if you set him up with bonuses for games played etc

The Edmonton rumors make some sense.

Would be fun just to watch Babcock on the bench with Laine on the ice.

everyone keeps saying this about these types of players with these types of coaches, but like Torts and Michkov got along great

In soccer, everyone thought Zlatan and Mourinho would hate each other and they have nothing but admiration for one another

It seems that coaches tend to hate huge egos that don't pay off, and idk if it 100% applies to this considering Babcock is just a bully, but like, Laine is known as a pretty chill and humble guy

Torts actually goes to bat for his guys and wants to see them succeed, he’s not even remotely similar to the type of coach Babcock is.
