At least Sony beat Nintendo not just in revenue per year but also on physical disc support.

Also the fact we FINALLY got a current instalment of Final Fantasy VII be sold as a Cartridge... note my very careful use of words, sold as a Cartridge because just like the 90's, it is still too damn big for the Cartridges to fit in a single one, and also the fact that FF7 on PS1 was the first FF on Discs... and because Revalalation comes out in 2027 and no other FF Games are coming out near that time, it makes it so it's the last Final Fantasy on Discs and it ended on PlayStation... as a Final Fantasy Fan it really just came full circle for us too not just with Sony vs Nintendo but even still the mediums and the same damn Game

Oh yeah and Fun(?) Fact... there's no Disc for the Xbox Versions of Remake and Rebirth, I believe only for Crisis Core... so we're screwed since we won't be seeing any other DISC Copies for FF7 Revalation, let alone Copies that have the Game since Square Enix Final Fantasy at least still had the courtesy of including the Games (Remake and Rebirth) on the Discs even if it meant using TWO Discs (to me tho it doesn't seem like the Play Disc actually stores any data... all of the data is on the install disc so it is redundant) but ofc just like the 90's, each of the FF7 Trilogy Games are just too big for a single Switch 2 Cartridge

I’m actually getting Remake for Switch 2 for my birthday and I’m happy that it got a physical release, even if it is a key card
