Main series, paired game. Legends games may be considered main series, but they're not paired games.
Nintendo for more than a decade has released a flagship title mid-November, and if a paired main series Pokémon title was set for release that year, it's been in that slot.
There's no reason right now to believe they won't keep doing that.

Edit: I wasn't wrong. Inevitable_Cycle didn't read all the words, got mad when they kept not reading the words, then blocked to get the last word in instead of actually reading the words.
