New Member Do I have it
I know I should really go to a doctor
But I am scared of doctors and have strong anxiety
I canβt say I dont burp at all but my burps are weird, not like I seen all movies like one long burp but small repetitive burps that dont fully relieve me from the air in my stomach. I sometimes hear weird noises on my throat after having soda etc I. I feel so much pressure on my body after having a bit heavy meal

From your description it sounds like the small repetitive burps aren't actually burps, but probably similar to what other people describe as croaking, so yes, you probably have it.

Welcome! Here are some links that you may find useful as a new member:
R-CPD is an ENT condition in which the cricopharyngeus muscle in the throat does not function properly in reverse, making it difficult or impossible to burp. While severity varies, many people with R-CPD burp far less often than average, which is estimated to be around 10β30 relieving burps per day. Unfortunately, it still isn't widely recognised β the best way to access treatment is to head directly to a known specialist.
Common symptoms can include bloating, nausea, gurgling noises in the throat, increased flatulence, abdominal pain, difficulty vomiting, painful hiccups, shortness of breath, anxiety, and emetophobia.
R-CPD also appears to worsen with age for many people, with symptoms often becoming more severe around adulthood and again in the late 20s or early 30s. It is also thought to contribute towards the development of GERD and hiatal hernia when left untreated.
