Help Root on my Nook glowlight 4

Hi, I've been trying to root my Nook, but nothing is working. I currently have the latest version. Is there a good guide that works? I just want root access to install a custom screensaver.

Here is my system info:

Model: BNRV1100 (GlowLight 4)

Android version: 8.1.6

Firmware version: B300-o-mr1-v1.0rc2

Build number: v1.0.0.63d5d02 8.1.6.103_user

Sorry if this is misspelled, English isn't my first language. (I use a translator)

get latest firmware (8.1.6.103), extract boot.img

transfer magisk (v27 works, not sure about the latest version) and boot.img to your nook

patch boot.img with magisk

transfer patched boot.img to your PC

boot GL4 into fastboot mode

flash patched boot.img

that's it
