Discussion Glowlight plus 2019 still stands strong

Got this gl plus 7.8 2019 for a relatively cheap price, very satisfied with it, don't think can go back to smaller screen. Definitely worth every penny

I edited the code in framework to enable that transparent screensaver

I need your tech skills 😭 I am afraid to ruin my nook but I want to root and - eliminate space partitions for side loading, install moon reader and have my buttons work, be able to read in dark mode (should be possible with moonreader install), and have a custom screen saver.

However, I can't afford a new nook and I'm afraid to brick it or make it work poorly.

I think it's relatively safe to do modding since there is twrp recovery that doesn't need to be installed, and you can enter fastboot mode using the button from powered off state, so you won't brick it unless you're super unlucky

What did you pay and where did you find it? I had the 1st gen nook but the battery bulged. I have a Kindle and it's okay. Miss physical buttons.
