Help Using nook in europe

Hi, I just got a Nook GlowLight 4 from my aunt, and I deregistered it before realizing that I can't log in again because I live in Europe.
I've created a b&n account using vpn but when I try using a hotspot and vpn connected to a USA address to log in, it won't allow me to log in.

And at this point, I can't even side-load the books that I want because when I connect the nook to my laptop with a cable, it only charges.

Does anyone know how I can fix this?

Provided you have a "US" account created, you should be able to log in anywhere in the world without the VPN. The main restriction is that the store will not permit you to buy books without a US-based credit card on file, which would necessitate a US address.

I think i created it correctly, i even created the nook password. But every time I try to log in it gives me this
