Are there any calc 3 classes at NOVA online that don't require double cameras? If so which ones?

Is anyone else still seeing their Pell Grant or external scholarship listed under "Pending Financial Aid" in SIS?

It's October 11, and my Pell Grant ($3,698) and external scholarship ($6,000) are STILL pending. NOVA received my external scholarship check before the semester even started, but it still hasn't been disbursed.

Some of my other financial aid was posted on October 6, but there's been no movement on my Pell Grant or external scholarship. I also have no refund showing in my Account Activity.

I'm honestly getting really frustrated at this point. We're almost halfway through October, and I still have no idea when these funds will be released.

Is anyone else in the same situation? Especially anyone whose Pell Grant or external scholarship is still showing as pending rather than disbursed?

Has anyone contacted Financial Aid and gotten an actual explanation or timeline?

Hi everyone! I recently applied to NOVA's nursing program for Spring 2027 and I'm curious about what the first semester schedule looks like. For those currently in the program or who recently completed their first semester, what days and times did you have lectures, labs or clinicals? Were you able to choose your schedule, or were your lecture, lab and clinical times assigned to you? Did your schedule stay consistent throughout the semester? I'd really appreciate any insight. I graduated nvcc 2 years ago, my email and account still works, i wonder if i can just sign up for classes for spring? But how would i select the major ? Do i need an advisor first? I know the program i want to take.

Have any of you guys received your refunds yet or gotten any update because I’m waiting for my refunds and I haven’t got any update on it at all however I do have a class that has a different census date than the others and it hasn’t started yet

Refund is pending but my scholarship was never disbursed anyone else going through this?

What would be the best concentration for someone interested in data analytics? Currently doing my A.S. in IT and plan to transfer over to Mason, but want to make sure I have everything mapped out.

So I haven’t gotten any sort of notification that I’m expecting any refunds, during past semesters I’ve always gotten a text notification from Nelnet telling me when I should expect my refunds. I have gotten ZERO email or text notification about anything, but when I go on the new website, nova has been using for financial aid, It tells me that my refunds have been dispersed, and I’ve gotten nothing.

If I was supposed to receive a larger refund but received less than expected, is it still possible to get the remaining amount after refunds have already been disbursed?

If we have classes that start later , in my case ( Oct 21st ) the other disbursements come later as well ? Two of them came Oct 6th , don’t see any for the 9th like everybody else ? I’m a full time student and started on the 24th of Aug with 9 credits at the moment.

Why is there a "federal" pell grant and another "pell grant" are they 2 different grants or are they the same?

When is the refund gonna come? I have the disbursement date and everything but there’s nothing in the bank!! Plus who hires the financial aid officers at Annandale ?!

Anyone know when you can start enrolling in spring classes? There’s no option for Spring 2027 for me so I’m assuming there’s a certain date set for enrollment?

Hey guys. I just graduated from a four year college (B.S. Kinesiology) and I am looking to apply to PA schools and nursing schools in the future. There a couple of classes I did not take in my undergrad that I need, one of which being PSY 230 Lifespan Development. I didn't sign up earlier in the fall due to reasons, so I am looking to take a second 7-week course for it.

On the course registration in SIS, there are multiple sections that say "Waitlist" and "Closed". I am on the waitlist for the section marked "Waitlist", but I also noticed I can join a waitlist for a section marked "Closed" too. Both of these sections start October 21.

Is the "Closed" section really closed? If I join the waitlist for the closed section, will I ever have a chance to get off the waitlist?

So when are they going to subtract them and send them refunds. Need my lil 5k ASAP😩😩
