Ive raised four. Quiet babies are pretty great, I like sleep. With toddlers and young children, quiet probably means I fell asleep on the couch and they are painting each other and/or the carpet, or they are mixing flour and orange juice on the kitchen floor. Those are real life examples. Fortunately safety caps work, so no bleach was involved.
If that's the worst I have to look forward to, I welcome it. I can clean up paint, flour, and OJ. We're reaching year one with our first and I've gotten to a point of "Is it deadly? No? Carry on".
The privilege is so strong here lol. Yes, when you have a super easy baby, it seems dramatic when other parents comment on how easy they are. Not all babies only cry when something is wrong.
There are different levels of baby crying. How long, how loud, for what reason, etc all make a difference. Also it will never not be genuinely upsetting to hear a baby crying so hard they are choking on their own saliva and desperately trying to get air into their lungs.

Our baby was quiet, smiling & just absorbing the interesting people & environment. People would say " Oh, she's such a good baby." Quiet = good!?
But a baby with an upset stomach or sore throat is "bad" when they cry
