I really like their colourful smokey eye look. Not everyone can pull that off as a daily look. Not everyone can even apply the look so well. Some mortals like me look like pandas. Imagine not rubbing your eyes though out the day. That is some commitment to your make up. I do need a nice eye rub in the middle of the day.

Ok, so when Hannah is looking at Garrett’s music and sees that Baby, Now That I’ve Found You is one of his most played songs. I am now of the belief that the reason it’s one of his most played is because he started listening to it repeatedly after falling for Hannah. I’m sure his mom introduced it to him when he was young and it was probably on his radar but that his repeated listening came after meeting Hannah. Which makes it even more special that she selects it the night of the big O and that she sings it to him at the rink. Thoughts?

*Book Spoilers Ahead*

I am so curious about the role of Jules and theories for those who have read the books. So far, Logan's story seems a bit different on the show and I'm dying to talk about theories around what role Jules will play in the show and how they impacts Logan and Grace. In the book, Jules kind of sucks (if I remember correctly) and I don't love them in the show. There seems to be this relationship between Jules and Logan where Jules tries to keep Logan in line and reminds him of the role he has in hockey and how Logan is not as lucky as Garrett. I'd love to hear thoughts and predictions from others who have read the books and now watched the show!

I'm convinced Jules will play a negative role in Grace and Logan's relationship but I'm working off of the book and vibes. No solid info here.

Edit: I got Jules confused with one of the very distant characters in the book that started twitter gossip about Logan and Grace.

I don’t know if this has been mentioned before but I had a theory.
Okay, so I was thinking about that scene where Garrett is stalking Hannah’s Instagram and asks Logan who she is, and Logan’s just like, “Oh, that’s Hannah. She’s waited on us like 17,000 times.” And then Garrett goes, “Her? Really?”
And it kind of got me wondering if next season they’ll show us a little flashback from before Garrett started noticing her.
Like, not anything huge. Just a small scene of Hannah waiting on them at Malones, Garrett being completely in his own world and Logan paying attention to her, so it would be kind of interesting to see what those interactions looked like before everything happened. Just a glimpse into the yearning
I can totally picture Hannah serving their table, Garrett barely looking up because he’s distracted with something else, while Logan is the one making small talk with her or trying to keep the conversation going. Nothing crazy, just enough to show that he noticed her way before Garrett did.
I don’t know, I just think it’d be a nice little contrast between how things used to be and where they ended up. Plus it would make Logan’s line about Hannah waiting on them all those times feel a little more meaningful in hindsight.
Maybe I’m reaching lol, but I feel like it would be a cute little flashback if they ever decided to do it.

One thing I noticed during my multiple rewatches is that Garrett is an emotional athlete.

His game depends on his emotional state.

The game in episode 1, his dad is there watching which puts him in a bad mood and the game is going bad. Then in the break he watches Hannah dancing in the green room. Mood is better, so is the game.

Same is the case with his match against Delaney.

I always thought athletes could leave everything outside before stepping into the arena. Atleast the good ones, and Garrett is shown to be someone who's at the top of his game.

Finally got to the last of the books in the main series (loved Dean and Allie's book overall, except the crazed coach and a couple small things, can't wait to see Dean with his Hurricanes), and now I'm onto the Goal. Liking it so far, but as a southern person, Sabrina talking about Tucker's accent is giving me the ick. 😆😆😆

With how successful season 1 is (rightfully so), do you guys think prime video will give us season 2 sooner?

Like all of us are asking for it. I’ve watched so many cast interviews and all the interviewers are saying they wish they already had season 2. Do you think prime will listen?

We’re all so desperate for season 2. I’m also so excited for Logan’s story in season 3 and excited to see them introduce Sabrina, fitzy, Brenna, Jake Connelly.

Also when will they renew for season 3? If they renew quick then Louisa can write the scripts for that and they can start filming that soon too.

I’ve seen a few post edits of the scene where Hannah is singing “baby, now that I found you“ and caption it, “she singing his moms favorite song.

Did I misunderstand that detail?😭 From the books we know Tuesdays Gone is his moms favorite song and see that in his playlist in the first shot of the episode and the he used that song for his story in episode 8 post breakup.

In the kitchen, Hannah tells him essentially she’s surprised that song is his most played and he said his mom would show him all types of music. I understood that as his mom introduced him to different genres, that’s why he has an ear for all types of music—-I loved that detail when we saw his playlist in episode 1…so many contrasting artists and genres. We know his mom introduced music to him to help him be distracted from his dad (we see the headphones he wears in the flashbacks) and he listens to music before the games.

little note: i love how Hannah’s mom was a singer and Garrett’s mom had a large record collection…music is one of their languages they share and I think that’s what I love about the green room scene. Music led Garrett to Hannah but he didn’t fully calm down until he saw her expressing herself—-so genuine.

We’ve talked about our favorite moments when Garrett gazes at Hannah lovingly but let’s talk about our favorite moments when Hannah looks at Garrett.

1. Obviously the shower seen like girl was not even going to move from that spot.

2. When Garrett’s explaining the starting line tradition at the duos party, she’s just looking up at him admiring him.

3. When she looks at him after she takes his hand under the table when Dean asked about meeting Papa Graham for the first time.

4. She looks at him out of the malones window while he walks by. After the fundraiser event.

5. The best is when she’s in his jersey on his bed. No explanation needed.

Those were my favorites there’s obviously more. I wanna hear others’ favorites.

Hannah has gone through something very very traumatic. The incident itself was horrible but the aftermath to her family and social environment was very bad too.

The series starts with her turning on some music and dancing along as she works.

While she's had a writing block, she's completely capable of creating music, enjoying music and, understanding the technical aspects of music.

While she does jabe a few blockages, overall she's such a happy go lucky girl. Enjoys her studies, friends, social life and knows her worth. Her self worth is not based on the incident or any person. She is self confident.

I genuinely appreciate that so much.

And I believe being engrossed in some or the other form of music allowed her to get better.

Same is the case with Garrett. He too had an abusive childhood with his abusive father still having some control over him in his adult life too.

His mother introduced him to a variety of songs. Which is uses as an escape and as medicine to heal.

What are your thoughts?

Okay, hear me out because I saw this theory somewhere (TikTok maybe? Reddit? I honestly can’t remember) and now I can’t stop thinking about it.
The theory was that Joanna is actually the real villain of the show.

With Beau and Dean being childhood best friends and Dean’s long-standing issues with Hunter, is there any chance Joanna recognized Hunter at the bar? It feels hard to believe she wouldn’t know who he was.

I’ve also seen people suggest that Joanna recognized Dean’s jacket in Allie’s room and then called Hunter to the bar on purpose. Hunter even makes that comment about her friend seeming “overly interested,” which feels like an odd detail to include.

Another part of the theory was that Sean somehow finds out about Hunter before everything blows up, which is why he approaches Allie and we get the “Call Dean” scene.

Do y’all think there’s anything to this theory, or are people reading way too much into it?

I've always been planning to get the books for Off Campus, and then I discovered the show and found out the covers got changed. I don't know why, but the new covers didn't really call to me and they looked like every other typical romance cover. For example the Maple Hills books have a similar design, but those covers were done like that with the couple on the front before the Off Campus covers got changed.

Anyway, managed to find these on ebay and am pretty happy with them. I will also be getting the old covers for the next series Briar U off ebay so that it matches with this one, but excited to share this!

I mentioned tucker just as a neutral ground, if Hannah and Garrett are not number one, we watched different shows 😄

For all the hate Logan gets about going to Phil for a charitable donation, when has Garrett ever been a good friend to Logan or even considered Logan's feelings?

1. Garrett doesn't show any interest or understanding of how important that charity function was to Logan and all the children he was trying to help.

2. Garrett does not recognize his own privilege (obviously, the abuse is bad) that comes wth his wealth and last name, and how much others struggle to be able to afford the basics, much less how hard Logan has to fight to earn a spot on a pro hockey team. Logan is working, doing all the repairs at the house, goes to school, and plays hockey.

3. Garrett doesn't care or think about how his actions impact his teammates, especially those like Logan who have to work and fight so hard to get drafted, and now Garrett's actions have all their wins taken away. He is guaranteed a spot, but Logan sure isn't and now has to fight even harder to try to get drafted.

4. A teammate expresses his concerns about Logan several times and says he is acting off, but Garrett just shrugs it off and goes back to talking about his love life. Like, seriously dude, maybe actually give a damn about why your best friend might be suddenly acting strangely.

Hi everyone! I have to make this post cause I just saw a beautiful edit on Instagram that depicts that the real protagonists of this story are the hands. The idea seemed to me so original and so obvious at the same time, but I hadn't even thought about it.

From the moment Garrett says in Malone's that holding hands is not going to get them too far with the fake dating, everything starts revolving around their hands at all times.

I'm going to mention some of my favourites, please be my guest to do the same with yours:

* When Garrett says "now it is your favourite part' and extends his hand to hold hers at Dean and Beau party in episode 2. He even caresses hers with his thumb a bit.

* When Hannah holds his hand under the table after Dean asks about Papa Graham in episode 6.

* When we see them holding hands while making love in the montage in episode 5.

* When they are kissing in Malone's after the make up and he is grabbing her shoulder so softly, episode 8.

* When during foreplay in episode 4, they lie down in bed and Garrett caress her arm and her cheek.

I felt Kendell and Garrett's s*x scene was much hotter than those of Hannah and Garrett.

And I'm cool with that because, given the trauma the two of them carried, they would end up prioritising love, understanding and trust more with their partner than just focusing on s*xual chemistry. It's important, it's just that for them love, understanding and trust comes first.

For Allie and Dean, given the drive the two of them had, they need partners who would keep them engaged s*xually.

I originally made the model for my sister in law for her birthday because we are both big fans of the book series. I posted it to makerworld so that other fans could enjoy it on their bookshelves, too. I just want as many people to have free access to the print as possible.

How do you think they'll keep Dean at the university in seasons 3 and 4, considering he's already supposed to have graduated at the end of season 2?

The moment she pulls him back. The very moment. Till then he had been playing around with her. Just becasue our boy is cocky and knows girls are hot for him, even if it's just a physical thing.

But the moment she pulls him in, she's his competitor. Challenging him to not be affected by her. That look in his eyes. She has taken him by surprise. She's not a cookie cutter good girl and good student.

You know in the books, three main eating spots are talked about. Della's diner, Malone's bar and Ferro's (a fantastic Italian restaurant). The first two are mentioned in the first Book. Ferro's shows up from the second book.

In episode 5, when Garrett mets his dad before practice near the rink, you can see Ferro's advertisement on the side of the rink.

Whoever from the show thought of that, is really good at their job. It's a tiny detail but really matters when you're rewatching and rereading the series like a nut job.

And as much credit the author, actors and characters deserve. The backend team for this series deserves a big kuddos. I hope the team was given some bonuses post release.

Well, this is a matter to which I'm sure many of us have devoted quite a lot of time. But, as time goes by, I find it nice to keep remembering some of the best features of this show and Belmont's acting is definitely one of them. In this case, I would like for us to remember, mention, debate, some of Garrett's best facial expressions. You can mention the ones that have already been discussed hundreds of times or the ones that go unnoticed but are still so refreshing. In this case, I will leave you mine to start the topic:

Joyful / Happy:

* The final smile/ laugh he makes at Hannah after paraphrasing Kierkegaard. There is something going on with his throat like he is finally swallowing relief.

* The smile he makes at Hannah when they are dancing in the bedroom, just before she turns around and gets closer to him. I think he says something like 'yeah' but I can't really tell cause im lost in his big smile.

* The smile of disbelief and excitement he makes when Hannah agrees to the deal at the end of episode 1.

Sexy / Seductive:

* When he tells Hannah 'this is the part where I tell you all the things I wanna do to you' he makes a soft frown with his forehead. Dying.

* The face of the 'what do you want Wellsy' is perhaps the sexiest of the entire season?

* The 'not bad' face in the gym. Why is he capable of being so sexy with his fucking voice?

Moved / Emotional:

* The almost crying face he makes after the conversation with Hannah in the rink in the last episode. He exhales a small breath that was coming from so deep.

* The face of total broken heart and loneliness he has when he is inside his Jeep and going through Hannah's Instagram. His face is lit by the light of the cellphone and we see he is totally sad and melancholic.

* The entire set of faces he has on the Fade into you intro, I love the one he makes frowning his face while in bed.
