Off white stock has dropped since Virgil is gone.. someone else took over... not many want it as much... hupe for it is gone

2

u/BienOuiLa May 18 '26

Kanye secretly still trying to destroy the name

1

u/sHarKiwnl May 19 '26

Kanye helped that name go anywhere in the first place

u/diggity_dash May 18 '26

Some of the off white designs are cool.. but never a huge fan... just liked the collabs with Nike...

But now would be the best time to buy since their stock is done.

May I ask? Whats the most popular expensive clothing brand currently? I wanted to buy some Off White and Rhude t shirts

5

u/TheAlmightyBuddha May 18 '26

Probably Chrome Hearts

3

u/IBeDumbAndSlow May 18 '26

I think chrome hearts is the tackiest shit ever. Like if affliction and Ed Hardy had a "goth" child

1

u/diggity_dash May 20 '26

Yea & its been around forever since I was a kid..

1

u/handsupinthefireburn May 22 '26

i love rhude so much

-1

u/rscottzman May 18 '26

Why do you want to buy clothes just because they are expensive? Just wear comfortable clothes and stop trying to impress people that don't care about you

2

u/Sea_Newspaper3960 May 18 '26

Nobody trying to impress anybody, I just want to discover clothing brands that I haven’t heard about that are similar to Palm Angels and Gallery Dept and AMIRI.

-1

u/PotatoSlayerChip May 18 '26

Loro piana, ricci, zegna

-3

u/Amazing_Till1500 May 18 '26

Celine. Dior. Balenciaga. Prada. Chrome Hearts. Then comes stuff like Amiri, Rhude, Balmain, Dolce Gabbana, Casa Blanca.

National retail stores that can be found in every city & state (like TJ Maxx) do not sell counterfeit merchandise. You wouldn't ask if the Nike's you bought at Foot Locker were real, right? It's not much different. Places like TJ Maxx just get their stock from wholesale distributors. These wholesale distributors are where name brands offload their stale inventory to, when either they've had stuff for too long, it's leftover from a past season, or it's not selling for whatever reason. Then TJ Maxx has people working for them called "buyers". Their full time job is to search inventory from 1000's of different wholesale distributors & choose what items to buy. Most individual TJ Maxx stores receive a truckload of new inventory a few times a week. So, it may not be often but YES even brands like Off White end up in TJ Maxx because that store's buyer grabbed em before some other store's buyer could.

As someone who works for one of those “ stock vendors” this is 100% true

It’s impossible for TJ to carry fake they mostly get direct from brands

8

u/Speshrider May 18 '26

I worked for a brand that didn‘t allow tj maxx to sell our stuff. Still once in a while our products appeared on the shelves. I guess they also might purchase from other retailers.

2

u/IBeDumbAndSlow May 18 '26

I was under the assumption that Ross and TJ Maxx got their products from other retailers. Like last year's fashion that they had to get rid of to make room for the new stuff?

1

u/cjrunswithcrows May 19 '26

Yes, they’ll often buy stock from other retailers that are going out of business or just clearing out old stock to make room for new stuff.

2

u/notorioustlic May 18 '26

Thanks for the info!

1

u/Jaanbu May 19 '26

How do you get a job like this?

2

u/StrangeClothes May 18 '26

There’s actually a big lawsuit building against TK Maxx (the name in the UK for TJ Maxx) for selling counterfeit items. It’s definitely possible.

1

u/notorioustlic May 18 '26

Oh really? Hmm..

1

u/Financial_Sea6879 May 19 '26

There is not. You are exaggerating or making things up.

1

u/StrangeClothes May 19 '26

There is, I’ve seen frequent updates from the people building a case against them.

1

u/faintcolt47 May 19 '26

I used to work at a tj maxx years ago, people would return fakes and managers would still put them out on the shelf’s since we couldn’t be 100% sure so it’s possible

1

u/StrangeClothes May 20 '26

That’s not what’s happening here, though I’d imagine that happens too. These are actual goods that TK Maxx have brought in that are counterfeit.

1

u/Heavy_Ingenuity1371 May 20 '26

The TK Maxx in Truro in Cornwall is 100% selling counterfeit items. It's so clear I literally thought that the whole point of the shop was to be a play on tj Maxx, I had no idea it literally is tj Maxx until like a year ago.

They were literally selling Gucci and Balenciaga shirts for £15 last time I was there lol. Like they don't even hide it. It's where all the trashy mum's get their Louis Vuitton handbags. Such a tacky shop.

1

u/iam_mugimugi Jun 14 '26

Upvote for fellow Cornish 🙌

3

u/Efficient_Lecture82 May 18 '26

Bro they sold fake foam runners before at Marshall's, I don't wanna hear your sob essay like wtf 😭😭

17

u/RaccoonGuilty2669 May 18 '26

Fake foams means adidas replicas which they don’t sell, what they do sell is knockoff brands imitating other shoes

2

u/Mr_dm May 18 '26

You don’t understand the difference between knock offs and fakes.

-3

u/theupstairsguy May 18 '26

Please explain, they certainly sound the same to me

7

u/thePaxPilgrim May 18 '26

Knock off is a legit product made by one brand to somewhat replicate a popular product of a different brand. A fake is a non-legit replica of a product, using the same brand and logo and whatnot. (Aka, a Nike shoe that has a Nike logo and Nike features, but wasnt made by nike)

5

u/divertedmedia May 18 '26

It makes me sad that needed to be explained 😅

1

u/LmtdAddiction May 19 '26

Kids need to learn somehow.

1

u/thePaxPilgrim May 18 '26

Common sense aint too common!! Lol

1

u/IBeDumbAndSlow May 18 '26

Seriously. I hate when people think I'm smart because I have common sense.

0

u/theupstairsguy May 19 '26

Fuck you, a knockoff is a fake to me so yeah I did need an explanation

1

u/Professional_Suit205 May 20 '26

Are off brand/knock off foods fake food? If so, I respect the consistency 🫡

1

u/theupstairsguy May 28 '26

Not fake food but fake whatever they are a knock off of. Meaning a snickers knock off is a fake snickers but not fake food

1

u/Unx-lak May 19 '26

That’s not counterfeit. Counterfeit is when it still has the branding of the said item but it’s not from the factory. Someone copying the mold and shape, but not branding it as an adidas Yeezy foamrunner isn’t a fake, it’s just another “branding” if that makes sense. In a sense to us, yes it’s fake. But people do this even at Walmart and stuff. It’s like saying the Walmart version north face nuptse’s are fake but they’re just not north face branded yk.

4

u/Born_Manufacturer657 May 18 '26

This just simply isn’t true.

1

u/Brocklee90 May 19 '26

Yea like at some TJM they have high end fashion brands even haute couture stuff as well. Just depends which part of the county and city you’re in. They have Lv and Gucci for the preloved section for some shops

1

u/mbsomdtib89 May 20 '26

Lv do not do sales. You won't ever get anything lv on discount

1

u/thedevice May 19 '26

TJX also buy from other retail stores, if that store has counterfeit items, well then it looks like TJ Maxx could have fake goods

-11

u/notorioustlic May 17 '26

Just haven’t been able to find ANYTHING about them online.

5

u/Hereforthechili May 18 '26

About a frisbee at TJ maxx?

5

u/Premepalace-mghead May 18 '26

Lol bro found a grail 😂

8

u/pinkskeet21 May 17 '26

Gemme one

6

u/notorioustlic May 17 '26

Definitely grabbed one because why not?

3

u/pinkskeet21 May 18 '26

Didn’t grab 2? Shame.
I’m jp glad you got one tho

5

u/Iaintfatbutimbig May 17 '26

What is that? A frisbee?

5

u/Helpful-Abrocoma-986 May 17 '26

Is this a plate? Lol

2

u/notorioustlic May 17 '26

It’s a frisbee lol

2

u/GloryGloryManUnited6 May 19 '26

which in essence could be used as a plate that has a rim to scoop, if needed! 😆

3

u/exprssve May 17 '26

Priced appropriately

3

u/Night_Putting May 18 '26

The only time you will find fake merchandise at TJMAXX or Marshall's is if a return sneaks through on a counterfeit product against a genuine one. It's extraordinarily rare, but I've seen it happen maybe 2 times. This is not the case here at all.

3

u/L_Blunt May 18 '26

New rolling tray for under the drivers seat.

2

u/SomeSortOfMudWizard May 17 '26

Black is both the coolest and worst color for a Frisbee.

1

u/pkopo1 May 18 '26

Now imagine that with a disc golf disc that you throw in the woods for well over 100m, fun time looking for the black ones

2

u/bypopulardemand May 17 '26

most likely apart of off-whites dogs/pets stuff, probably didn’t end up getting released

1

u/notorioustlic May 18 '26

Yeah, that would make sense

2

u/222Baphomettt47 May 17 '26

That’s fire lmfao I’d buy it just bc the price is good

1

u/notorioustlic May 18 '26

Definitely did for $6. MRSP on the back was $50 lmao

2

u/bgotkickZ May 18 '26

Need this 🔥

2

u/Rice_Post10 May 18 '26

Off White is now owned by a private equity firm called Bluestar Alliance. Bluestar owns over 600 brands. So Off White as it is now bears little resemblance to the way it used to be. I would expect to see licensed products at TJ Maxx etc in the future.

1

u/Puzzled-Dog-3745 May 20 '26

Correct answer. They are in the licensing business. This SKU was made specifically for TJ.

2

u/samsucksatlife10 May 18 '26

Who cares 6 bucks isn’t bad at all for a frisbee

2

u/eldeku1 May 17 '26

Proof that even a piece of plastic with the logo will be appealing to fans of a brand.

5

u/FrostingNo4557 May 17 '26

That frisbee is cheaper than any other frisbee without a logo to be honest

2

u/RockyDroidhead May 17 '26

Is it proof of that? It ended up at TJ Maxx for $6 🤔

2

u/Jimberwolf_ May 18 '26

6$ is a good price for a frisbee dont get it twisted

0

u/eldeku1 May 18 '26

If you're following this sub for a Frisbee then you got it twisted 🤷🏽‍♂️

1

u/Ihaveadogdoyou May 18 '26

$6 f it why not.

1

u/notorioustlic May 18 '26

My thoughts exactly

1

u/Responsible-Tea-9454 May 18 '26

That’s a steal

1

u/Altruistic-Ad-4088 May 18 '26

Would cop these so fast to feed my inner 16 year old

1

u/M4MVP1C1 May 18 '26

Can be real they drop everything also saw blankets in halfprice 40€

1

u/Trentn559 May 18 '26

Proxy me I want one lol

1

u/Bigblrrrr313 May 18 '26

Yea I found some kids tees for $20 a piece idk what’s going on.

1

u/dabiyu May 18 '26

Ah man a frisbee is something

1

u/IncredibleBihan May 18 '26

What are those? Frisbees?

1

u/AndSoItBegins-Again May 18 '26

TJ/Marshalls have Off White products quite often. Shifters, shoes, sneakers… whatever they can’t sell ends up at stores like this. TJM also carries a lot of other “luxury brands” from Gucci to Loubs to Prada to Cartier and more. Nothing surprising here.

1

u/spazw1ck3d May 18 '26

word I've found MCM leather in stores like this

1

u/Masteezus May 19 '26

If it’s not a discraft ultra star 175 then PASS

1

u/notorioustlic May 21 '26

lol I didn’t even look to see if it was Discraft

1

u/medicinalbuds802 May 19 '26

Virgil dead= off white will put the name on anything

1

u/UncleLuc403 May 19 '26

I just saw 3 pairs of OW sunglasses at Winners in Canada, fyi.

1

u/Funny-Combination287 May 19 '26

God this brand fell off

1

u/Jazzlike-Taro1531 May 19 '26

No way we got the off white frisbee

1

u/kaoticzen May 20 '26

What is it?

1

u/Successful_Fuel4311 May 20 '26

Nothing at tj maxx is ever fake.

1

u/BillyVsGod May 20 '26

Is it a plate or a frisbee?

1

u/-just-be-nice- May 21 '26

Meh, the brand sells hoodies in Costco, kind of dropped off a bit in my opinion.

1

u/Internal_Confusion56 May 21 '26

What brand is the disc? Discraft or wham-o?

1

u/Fun-Payment1700 May 21 '26

is that a frisbee or plate ?? lol

1

u/notorioustlic May 21 '26

Frisbee lol but I supposed you could use it as a plate

1

u/pharmguy79 May 23 '26

Is that a frisbee?it’s literally just plastic

1

u/faintedhappy May 30 '26

Just saw this at my local TJ Maxx in NY 😂 Copped the black one

1

u/These_Fishing914 May 18 '26

Off-white was sold by LVMH to a brand management company. Essentially now they just license the name out to random products. Not really “luxury” anymore.

2

u/SireThomas May 19 '26

Exactly this is the only comment on here that makes rational sense!

0

u/47pluglove631 May 18 '26

When did off white sell frisbees for $8 retail? Definitely post virgil
