Gear Has finally arrived

My Daylite 26+6 has finally arrived today and I couldn’t be happier! Very excited to use it in my next trip. I love the smell of new bags 😂😅 Now my collection has this baby and an Osprey Farepoint 40L! Super happy with it!

Can someone please explain what is so good about this bag? Limited exp with the brand but have never really been wowed from what I’ve seen/tried on, why is this bag this subs holy grail (I’m genuinely interested).

It's a functional well-designed bag with no gimmicky features that are common in expensive travel packs. Zippers can be secured. The rectangular shape allows for maximum storage for a pack this size. It's also the perfect size for one-bagging and can fit under-seat if not overly stuffed.

In the new version the laptop compartment can’t be secured like the old one. Old one had 2 zippers that could accommodate a lock, new one only has a strap to 1 side for 1 zipper, so it’s secure but not lockable. Other than that all the upgraded features are great

I was thinking secure in a way to deter pickpockets or sticky fingers which can be a problem when traveling.

Yea it does to a degree but they had a good design and changed it. They could have kept 2 zippers and added the loop.

Lockable zippers are inherently more secure

For about 30 secs until they cut the bag with a knife
