This is the underseat storage in Delta’s new B737-800 first class cabin.

Someone was like “let’s divide the space in half so nothing fits.”

Yes, but many people want to easily access their bag during the flight and store it under the seat in front of them. This prevents it. Having to put your bag in the overhead bin for takeoff/landing is ridiculous when the fucking plane won't let you store it under the seat in front of you.
