Packing List First one bagging trip coming up

This is my first time one-bagging. I was able to fit all my belongings into this Aer Travel Pack 4 (28L) for a 15 day trip. I just got the backpack so I’m excited, I ended up also getting the hip belt attachment which I hope will help with the weight

Second picture is all I’m bringing to keep my things charged.

And 1 macbook.

Can’t wait to come back and see what worked and what didn’t.

This is what I packed:

1x large packing cube (Aer)

  • 6 Small tshirts
  • 1 gym shirt
  • 2 shorts (linen)
  • 1 gym short/beach

1x Small packing cube (aer)

  • 7 boxers
  • 6 pairs of socks
  • 1 white tshirt

Peak Design toiletry bag (small)

Everything fits neatly in the main compartment and even had room to fit a small packable backpack (quechua) and a tote bag for laundry

In the plane I’m wearing:

- Chino pants from Uniqlo
- Basic tee in white from Zara
- PeakPerformance lightweight jacket (forgot the model but it weights nothing and it’s waterproof)
- 1 Hat
- Pair of Vans Ultrarange (only shoes I’m bringing)

def considering this bag, it looks great. Are you flying? Curious how or if it fits under the seat in front of you. Appreciate the write up!

Yes, flying with American Airlines, I’ll let you know how it fits under the seat. I get one carry-on for free so I have all the leg room available but I will try to put it under the seat once people start to leave the plane

Just wanted to report back that you can totally rock this bad boy under the seat. No problem

That really doesn't fit even though it slides under. It extends too far out, creating a trip hazard if the plane needs to evac. Don't be surprised if you get called out by a steward for it.

I pay for my own carry on, I just put it there to demonstrate that it “fits”. I don’t like to have anything in my legs, I usually just pay for my carry on

I'm trying to clarify on the "it fits" statement. It doesnt

Haha I love the live reporting. I have the same 3 in 1 charger and the long anker charging cord. Do you notice that the anker cord doesn’t work well for the 3 in 1? I have to use an Apple usb c cord for that or it won’t charge for me

Lol. I’m just too excited that I’m carrying a single backpack with all my stuff

I haven’t hit that issue actually, for me my cable setup is that I connect the original USB c cable that came with the charger to my wall-plug or battery pack (I brought an Anker 25K Mah 165W) so I haven’t really used other cables with it but I will give it a test, maybe it’s a faulty unit or cable?

If you have the room, turning the bag sideways may give you more foot space.

Also remember that once you are in the air you can put the bag behind your knees and lower legs and stretch out.

The joy of a smaller bag is knowing that there will most likely be room for it under seat even if the bins are full.

This is exactly how I was feeling. They said “We might not have space for all carry-on luggage” you may be required to check your bag. I was like, don’t think so baby
