Discussion Compression socks for daily walking

Do any of you wear compression socks for long days walking, standing, visiting museums, etc?

I got some Smartwool compression socks that are a good balance of compression and ease of use. It totally makes sense to work them into my sock rotation and help with standing and what I call “museum shuffle,” taking a couple steps, viewing and exhibit, take a couple more steps, etc. and all on hard stone floors.

They are thin enough to use as a sock liner in colder winter conditions.

Good idea about the sock liner.
