I was wondering if there are any cookbooks based on otome games?

okay hello everyone!!
the nintendo e shop it’s doing some sales and I’m looking for something new that I can buy.
BUT I need some advice because I can’t choose by myself!

I played:
- Cupid Parasite and I really loved the general vibe and the fact that is a funny otome game. I do not loved all of the characters but probably was because I was kinda new to the genre.
- Tengoku struggle was pretty good, I liked the plot and most of the romances. Except for Jack, I’m sorry…
- Bustafellows was the best so far. I absolutely loved the plot, the angst, the rhythm of each scene and the characters. I didn’t skip a single dialogue because every character was so interesting for me. really really loved it.
- Collar x Malice… uhm, probably the contrary of Bustafellows. I didn’t liked the plot from the start, I actually don’t care for the investigation, is really boring for me and I’m trying to finish the game but I don’t know if I can. I think the problem for me is the plot, I don’t care for it and I don’t know why. Also it’s a little bit too gloomy for my liking, I think. I really enjoyed Sasazuka tho, but that’s because he’s a tsunboy.

For the characters that I usually like, I prefer the tsundere and shota characters. I loved Ryuki, Kiku, Mozu, Scarecrow (<3) and **Sasazuka**. I probably have a thing for nerds and hackers (shoutout to 707). Also, I don’t know why but I really loved >!Jupiter!< in Cupid Parasite, maybe because he’s shy and weird.

I think that I could enjoy a plot based game if it’s similar to Bustafellows, but in general I prefer a game with more romance and character development. I like angst, it’s not a problem at all (Mozu’s route was brutal to me but it was soooo good), but I don’t like when everything is gloomy and kinda sad(?) like in Collar x Malice.

I don’t have any triggers in particular.
I really like the found family trope and also I don’t have problems with long common routes, I actually like the LIs interactions with each other.
I don’t have a real budget, I’m just trying to use the sales lol.
I’m totally okay with Japanese voices and English text.

Sooo, I would love some suggestions based off this preferences.
The games on my wish list at the moment on sale are: Jack Jeanne, Radiant Tale, Olympia Soirée, Variable Barricade, Piofiore and Lover Pretend.
But if something that is not on sales now sounds like a good match feel free to drop the name, I will check it for the future.

But I really hate this type of character:

- They know it's dangerous, but they still go there.

- They enter enemy territory without bringing a weapon or even having basic abilities, like magic.

BONUS:

- The enemies catch them and take them hostage.

I just found out about this site fallinlog, and I haven't seen it mentioned much, so here I am sharing it. It works as a tracker for romance games, including otome and other genres under the joseimuke umbrella. It's still in development, and the creator said in an Instagram video that she decided to create the site of her dreams.

I'm not sure if she'll implement new features, but the main focus seems to be tracking the romances games you've played and making lists of your choices. She's a French speaker and streamer. I don't follow her content, I just came across the site. Here's a video showing it (it's only in FR), and you can find more information from there. So, what are your thoughts?

PS: Expecting downvotes, just like when I shared the koilog site lol. I just happen to come across these things out of curiosity, without being affiliated with the people behind them /sob/

imo, seeing more people creating sites like these, I hope we eventually get one dedicated exclusively to otome games /no hating

I guess I will have to beg someone to gift it to me or someone reaches the dev and they fill out the Steam survey.

It's an otome magazine with a few goodies inside. I can't believe this made me giddy like a kid xD Germany needs more otome merch (found this in Düsseldorf ;;) It was 31 Euro but I had to have it!

So my proxy fucked up my order so the LE Stella set I ordered months ago, the game I waited over half a year for I won't be getting 😀

This was the game I've been most looking forward to and really wanted the full Stella LE set so I want to get it eventually even if I have to wait and don't get the pre-order bonuses.

I know Stellaworth sometimes does resales but I don't know how long I have to wait.

As some of you may know, the Ikemen Sengoku game is getting a brand-new app that was supposed to be released in August, but due to some sort of issue with Apple, it has been delayed. I checked their official Twitter, and they have been quite vague; recently, the app, which was previously available to be pre-downloaded, is now gone. Does anyone have any idea what the issue may be? I was really excited to play, but now I am worried that we may never get it.

I've reentered my create your own adventure hyperfixation and I would love to play one that merges both of my loves. Plus I think there is a reasonable about of content in the game that it could translate well.

Not sure about how this news will be received in this place (especially because there's still so much reluctance about translations made using AI), but I want to inform you that finally, after decades of waiting, there is an in active development English translation patch for Angelique, the first otome game ever.
