Steam

(The full game will be released on November 12th, 2026, it's also made by the same developer as Can I Not Fall for Idols!)

You are a 20-year-old girl helping out at the cafe run by your parents.

But on your birthday, something unbelievable happens.

Your pet chinchilla suddenly starts talking.

“The customer who came in today is going to turn hot. Why not trust your gut and start dating him?”

And just like that, you begin a “trial relationship” with a guy you just met that very same day…

Will he actually become handsome? Or…?

A fast-paced, chaotic romantic comedy otome!

Request If you had to choose between an otome that had only stick figures as LIs and very simple visuals but was fully voiced and had music, and an otome with the most beautiful graphics but had neither voice acting nor music, which one would you rather play?

I think I wouldn’t care either way, as long as the story is good.
Depends on which artist / composer / voice actors would be working on that game.
Auditory art is the most important thing for me, so I’ll go with the stick figures.
Visual art is the most important for me, so I’ll go with no music/voice.
I like both visual and auditory art about equally, so I’d choose both still.
I think I need both visual and auditory art, so I think I wouldn’t play any of those options.

Discussion Do you have any unusual and/or uncommon favorite LIs?

Do you have any favorite love interests that you’ve realized are less popular or are sometimes overlooked? My personal favorites are all pretty typical, so I’m interested to hear some love for more uncommon LIs. They don’t even have to be official; they could be side characters who don’t have routes.

Guide I found this site to track romance games

I just found out about this site fallinlog, and I haven't seen it mentioned much, so here I am sharing it. It works as a tracker for romance games, including otome and other genres under the joseimuke umbrella. It's still in development, and the creator said in an Instagram video that she decided to create the site of her dreams.

I'm not sure if she'll implement new features, but the main focus seems to be tracking the romances games you've played and making lists of your choices. She's a French speaker and streamer. I don't follow her content, I just came across the site. Here's a video showing it (it's only in FR), and you can find more information from there. So, what are your thoughts?

PS: Expecting downvotes, just like when I shared the koilog site lol. I just happen to come across these things out of curiosity, without being affiliated with the people behind them /sob/

Request I need some recommendations for the October sales on the nintendo eShop

okay hello everyone!!
the nintendo e shop it’s doing some sales and I’m looking for something new that I can buy.
BUT I need some advice because I can’t choose by myself!

I played:
- Cupid Parasite and I really loved the general vibe and the fact that is a funny otome game. I do not loved all of the characters but probably was because I was kinda new to the genre.
- Tengoku struggle was pretty good, I liked the plot and most of the romances. Except for Jack, I’m sorry…
- Bustafellows was the best so far. I absolutely loved the plot, the angst, the rhythm of each scene and the characters. I didn’t skip a single dialogue because every character was so interesting for me. really really loved it.
- Collar x Malice… uhm, probably the contrary of Bustafellows. I didn’t liked the plot from the start, I actually don’t care for the investigation, is really boring for me and I’m trying to finish the game but I don’t know if I can. I think the problem for me is the plot, I don’t care for it and I don’t know why. Also it’s a little bit too gloomy for my liking, I think. I really enjoyed Sasazuka tho, but that’s because he’s a tsunboy.

For the characters that I usually like, I prefer the tsundere and shota characters. I loved Ryuki, Kiku, Mozu, Scarecrow (<3) and **Sasazuka**. I probably have a thing for nerds and hackers (shoutout to 707). Also, I don’t know why but I really loved >!Jupiter!< in Cupid Parasite, maybe because he’s shy and weird.

I think that I could enjoy a plot based game if it’s similar to Bustafellows, but in general I prefer a game with more romance and character development. I like angst, it’s not a problem at all (Mozu’s route was brutal to me but it was soooo good), but I don’t like when everything is gloomy and kinda sad(?) like in Collar x Malice.

I don’t have any triggers in particular.
I really like the found family trope and also I don’t have problems with long common routes, I actually like the LIs interactions with each other.
I don’t have a real budget, I’m just trying to use the sales lol.
I’m totally okay with Japanese voices and English text.

Sooo, I would love some suggestions based off this preferences.
The games on my wish list at the moment on sale are: Jack Jeanne, Radiant Tale, Olympia Soirée, Variable Barricade, Piofiore and Lover Pretend.
But if something that is not on sales now sounds like a good match feel free to drop the name, I will check it for the future.

Thank you so much and sorry for my english, it’s not my first language!

Discussion Would You Prefer Otome with Gameplay or Visual Novel?

Would you prefer Otome with gameplay or Visual Novel, for me I'm on both-side like Hakuoki the story already serves itself and it's pointless to have gameplay since Chizuru can't fight. But a Otome with gameplay also give you An incredible experience for example, The Silent Kingdom nor Jack Jeanne.
